Cute log cabins
Nice motel with cute log cabins. So close to the beach. Good for a walk to search for neat stones. Really enjoyed our stay. Love that this place is pet friendly. Our spaniel enjoyed it as much as we did

We had a nice family cabin that backs onto a beach which was wonderful for sunsets. Small kitchenette which allowed us to cook some meals. No centralized heating but did have heaters for the rooms.

Very nicely situated on the beach. The room was very clean and comfortable with a nice deck to enjoy the view of the ocean. It’s about a ten minute drive to downtown for shopping and dining.

What a gem this place was! We stayed in a chalet cabin but they also cater to caravans/campers. You’re on the beach in an instant via a quick pathway, and there are alpacas and goats on the property if you need an animal fix. But the best part for me was being directly across the street from a glow worm dell. Once it’s dark, take a short walk and you’ll be surrounded by teeny tiny twinkling lights that look like the universe laid out before you. It’s magical! Service was excellent, cabin was pristine; everything we needed for an overnight. Hokitika is just down the road with shops, restaurants etc. Could not recommend this place higher!

Great little wee spot. Booked two chalet for my family visiting from Quebec, Canada. They really like it as we were in front of the beach and went enjoy the sunset. I’ve stayed there previously in different type of accommodation and always enjoyed. Staff are very friendly.

The chalet we stayed in was very large an comfortable, with a shared patio just steps from the beach. Unfortunately the weather was not great while we were there, but our time was very relaxing nonetheless. Our only complaint was the spotty WiFi.

We loved our stay - we stayed one night in the king beachfront room. They join onto a room next to them and share a balcony. Very clean. Although it didnt matter to us, one thing I noted was that the wifi single didnt extend to our room.
