We adhere to strict cleaning and disinfecting requirements in accordance with CDC guidelines. All towels and sheets are 100% cotton and washed in hot water with bleach and dried on high heat... Very clean and very comfortable. Self check-in is super easy.

Each of our three suites can enjoy their large private outdoor patio facing the beautiful backyard and located less than one block from a general convenience store which stocks numerous amenities, snacks and convenience items.

The Sunrise Cottage Suite offers two generous bed rooms with comfortable hand made queen-size pine beds, large closets, plus a comfortable pull-out sofa in the living room.

Everything is here!
This cute, charming cottage in a fabulous location is spotless! Everything is provided here and John is incredibly responsive to any and all questions! If you opt to stay here with children the game room is great! Even the garage is a cute functional spot. Would stay here again and again and again!

Great little hideaway
The sunrise suites is such a cute place to stay. It’s pretty secluded from neighbors, which meant it was nice and quiet. We enjoyed the backyard with the fire pit, made s’mores and looked at the stars. It was a 4 minute drive to downtown Saugatuck and downtown Douglas, and a short ways to Holland as well. The checkin and checkout process were very simple too.

Awesome as always
This was our 3rd time staying in Sunrise Cottage and as always, it did not disappoint. Our friends stayed in the other 2 cottages. Very clean, nicely decorated, kitchen had everything we needed. John is great with communication and is always so kind to start a fire for us in the fire pit. We are getting ready to book again for next year!

Great Location
What a great fall weekend getaway! The location was perfect. We walked to breakfast daily, into town and to the dune ride. The walking path was SO convenient. The cottage was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.

Girls Weekend
We really enjoyed our time at the Sunrise property! Location was fantastic. We enjoyed the convenience having the walking path so close. Our first impression walking in was….WOW! Pictures are very accurate how clean and welcoming the home is. I am planning on coming back again in the future! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience.

Great stay/getaway to Saugatuck
What a nice, clean and beautifully decorated place to stay. We had a sisters get together and this cute cottage was centrally located to the places we wanted to go to. We used the Interurban bus/transit system to get to one of our events and what a convenience it was when parking spaces downtown are hard to come by.

Literally perfect, can’t wait to come back
This was a last minute booking as we had to come up a few nights earlier than planned to meet up with friends. We wish we had stayed here the whole time. The host had thought of everything in terms of a stocked kitchen, labels / clear instructions, many towels, etc. LOVED it.

Spacious rental
This rental was a pleasant surprise. Much larger than the pictures portrayed. The rental was extremely clean and looks recently remodeled (professionally). For our family it was close to several golf courses, wineries, and downtown. Nothing was further than 15 minutes from this location. We are considering another trip back for a golf weekend and would stay here again.

The perfect getaway!
This was our first time in the area but it definitely won't be the last. We spent four nights with four people (2 couples) and the VRBO was perfect for our needs. Check-in was a breeze, the property was well maintained and CLEAN (that is a BIG deal for me) and it was minutes away from all of the action. We used the fire pit on night two and that was lovely. The sky painted us the prettiest picture at sunset. We are already talking about our next trip and the possibility of bringing more friends and renting more of the cottages!

Second time to Sunrise Cottage, great place!
This was our second time to sunrise cottage. We stayed in two different units and both were extremely clean, 5 stars clean! Location was perfect, we really enjoy the stroll to town and the firepit out back. John was great to work with. We will definitely stay there again.

Lovely Cottage in a Great Location

The Best Place in Saugatuck!

Perfect Cabin
We really enjoyed our time in Saugatuck and our stay at this cute cabin that had everything we needed. The games were a lot of fun. Location was within walking distance to downtown. Lovely cottage
We had 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 16, 13, and 11) who stayed at the cottage and it was comfortably accommodated our needs. I cooked most of our meals and had what I needed in the kitchen. My girls played ping pong in the basement and we all played Scrabble when we weren't at the beach or blueberry picking. John was easy to get ahold of and very helpful. The place was very clean! We'd definitely stay there again!

Beautiful Stay
Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Everything is clean and well kept. The rooms are spacious and games entertained the teens. Within walking distance to Dollar General, mini golf, and dune rides. Beautiful fire pit in the backyard good for s'mores. Within close driving distance from downtown Saugatuck and Oval Beach. Owner is fantastic to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Property close to everything
We loved our stay at the cottages. It was clean and had anything we might need for our stay. The owners were great and started the fire pit for all the guests several nights. We were close to everything, either walking or a quick drive! Highly recommend!

Beautiful home and location!
I can’t say enough about these cottages! You can really tell the owners put a lot of thought into the design and items stocked in the cottage. They are also incredibly clean and well decorated. The description is 100% accurate and 100% worth the price for both the location and size. We absolutely loved staying here and will definitely be back.

Great property/location. Will stay again!
We recently stayed in the Sunrise Cottage with our 3 year old son and had a great time! The property is easily the cleanest rental unit we’ve stayed in and was perfect for a relaxing family trip, with comfortable beds and plenty of games to play/things to do. The location is also perfect. We made multiple trips to the general store and gas station across the street so it was great having those there for last minute items. It’s a quick drive downtown, but with parking down there being a bit of a nightmare, we’ll definitely take advantage of the bike rental shop across the road from the cottage next time. It’s obvious the owner takes great care of the property and we can’t wait to return!
