We happened to drop an earring under the desk in our room and were disgusted. There was no way the space under the desk or, upon further inspection, many of the places in the room had been cleaned in a very long time. Thought it was odd for a resort property to only have two hooks in bathroom on top of one another and not even side by side. Also bring extension cords, because the room was not wired for 2024. Couldn’t hang swimsuits and towels. People were friendly, but service was slow. After calling for porter for our bags, waited for 40 minutes before calling again and then got them in 5 minutes. Room service food was mediocre at best. Location was great. Our view was great—noisy with luau and concert going on in the evening.

Surprise upgrade
For some reason, almost all the hotel rooms in Oahu were booked on the night of 15 August. This room was one of the very last properties available. When I checked in at 9pm, for some reason, I was given an upgrade to an ocean view room...and it's just gorgeous. I'm so grateful to have had this stay. Everyone at the check in desk, housekeeping, and room service have been extra patient and hospitable. Really great stay. I'll be back.

Staff was nice and very welcoming. The room was very clean upon check-in, we usually don't have them clean in-between bc we have all our stuff laid out and well, other personal reasons. So we did ask for clean towels, sheets and trash bags and they were polite in giving them to us. I would however suggest that they make sure to check shampoo, conditioner and body wash bc ours had enough for maybe 2 out of our 6 days.. again, minor things. The pool was clean and well maintained, having access to clean towels outside and having live music on the times we were there. Truly relaxing. Also, we took advantage of the magic show, which was great and totally worth it. And i can't forget to mention the great location- it's walk to the beach, or to go shopping.. or you can Uber/Lyft or bus which has a stop like right there.
