Like any major plan, this trip did not start with a few hiccups here and there, but once we settled in, it quickly became all in the past. The stay was easy going. Wish I could have stayed longer.

The rooms need a lot of work. The a/c sounds like it’s going to blow up the room. Toilet makes a weird sound, even when it’s not being used. Bathtub needs to be redone (Rusty in corners). The water provided in room tasted terrible. The coffee machine in the room was super dusty where you put water. I did feel safe due to guest needing a key to get to room. It was pretty close to a lot of walkable places.

Had to get a fan from maintenance as our AC didn’t work well and was hot and humid in our room to the point my husband didn’t sleep well our whole stay. Also, two hours after we checked out I received a text from the hotel that I had forfeited my $500 deposit as the “sensor” in the room detected we had conveniently smoked mere minutes before we left for the final time after no issues with that all week. I nor my husband smoke-THC, nicotine, vape, etc. We gladly asked for THC and nicotine testing as we knew we had not smoked in the room, but of course was denied that and told tough luck. The manager, Amber, then called security as she didn’t like us asking questions and could not give us any answers would just say “I can’t make those decisions.” She then accused my husband and I of smoking in front of numerous people that were checking in/out and basically told us we needed to deal with the consequences of our own actions. We both have jobs that require routine drug and nicotine testing. Afterwards I read countless reviews left regarding the same issue with no resolution and is typically linked to aerosols such as hairspray and/or water vapor. This is ridiculous, you need to do better.

Hotel is conveniently located. We have stayed here twice. Once we booked the 3 bed room. I was disappointed because the sliding door wouldn’t properly close and it was too close to the elevator where it was always noisy. Second time we booked the two bed suite, everything worked and it was quiet. It a great location for the price which is why we booked again. Its across from Waikiki beach, shops and zoo. Restaurant located on 3rd floor has amazing food. Pool is small but serves it purpose. Valet parking is easygoing and staff is quick! Reason I don’t give it a 5 star is because its not as fancy as a Resort but I knew that at time of booking. For the price its a great location and it serves it’s purpose while at Waikiki.

Property is across the street from public beach. That means it is an awesome beach but overran with people. Staff are super well trained and accommodating but property is probably 60 years old and needs extreme renovation. If you love the rat race of Waikiki then you may love it. We spent a few nights and then left for Kauai and had a totally opposite experience for less money at a brand new place that was quiet and peaceful.

Great location on Waikiki! Fun spot! We had an ocean view room on the 10th floor and it was lovely. Not fancy but fun and friendly! We also liked dining at the Tiki with fun live music.

Great location and price for the Waikiki area. Phenomenal views from ocean front units. Price of that was noise from loads of people, screaming kids in the waves, trucks, leaf blowers, pressure washers, horns, music, cars, etc. Noise from 6 a.m. to late - those light sleepers should bring earplugs. Lots of slamming doors from the hallways and noise leaking thru adjoining room doors. No noise from above or below, though. It was all tolerable for the view and location. Great shallow, protected ocean swim area for kids and families just across the street. Lots of transportation and food options. Very comfortable bed!
