So dirty and out dated. Our toilet was “lopsided” and the tile and tub was very stained, the carpet was stained and buckled, and the room smelled of mildew. Our air never cooled down and I sweated all night. The paint and plaster was chipping off the walls and the ceiling in the hallway was falling apart, and I had to pay for parking because valet was full. The place is beautiful and old but really needs attention. The staff was amazing though and the entertainment and bar area/lobby was GREAT! I wanted to love it but still, it was a bit scary. It is very convenient for walking.

The common spaces of this hotel are amazing and historic, however the rooms and hallways need much renovation. I know they are in the process of doing a lot, but I was disappointed. Lots of paint peeling, water damage and “landlord specials”. Parking was $22/night. There’s a $15 resort fee per day, I’m not sure what that money is going to. The doors took old fashion keys which I liked, but they were also incredibly hard to open. It also slowed down check out times because of it. The bed was nice but the lamps and other furniture need to be replaced. The AC unit is probably older I am. While it did work, it needed to be cleaned. There’s no reception and the WiFi didn’t stay connected. The hallways are dark to the point of a safety concern. Also there were no signs for the stairs. The elevators took forever (mostly because of their size). The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. When I come back to Hot Springs, I’d probably stay somewhere else until major renovations are made.

This hotel is beautiful. The rooms were clean and the hotel bar area was a lot of fun. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is perfect and everything is close and a nice walk.

Yes, the property has “old” everything and with age comes wear and tear and all the things we aren’t very tolerable of when staying away from home nowadays. But, this hotel transported us back to a different place and time and we enjoyed it. It was quiet, we felt safe and the staff made the stay. The location is wonderful.

My wife and I have been to the Arlington several times over the past 20 years and the quality of the property has decreased. There is paint peeling off the walls in multiple places, the wallpaper and panels in the elevators are damaged, and there was rust spots in several parts of the tub. The staff used to be well dressed but they are in branded t-shirts now. As recently as 5 years ago, you would come back to your room in the evening to find your bed had been turned down and mints were on the pillows, there is none of that detail any longer.

Is a historic hotel. Very interesting place if you like 20s and 30s mob history, but need lots of remodeling. The staff told us that they are working on it since the hotel is celebrating 100 year on New Year’s Eve 2024.

Loved staying in this old historical hotel. They will celebrate 100 years in 2025. Love they still use keys to open doors. The architecture is stunning. Live bands in the lobby on the weekends! Valet parking , spa in house. Wonderful place you feel like staying in on vacation!

The hotel was nasty. I have pictures of all the mold in the shower and carpet. We would have changed hotels had we not been there for our engagement pictures and i couldnt walk far due to a recent surgey. Upon arriving we were told rhis was the only room thwy had left so we were at theor mercy.
