Prima Life Resort is fantastic! The facilities are excellent, and the animation staff keeps things lively with plenty of activities. The buffet is diverse and delicious, catering to all tastes. The beach is stunning, with a small coral reef perfect for snorkeling. Whether you’re looking to relax or stay active, this resort has it all. Highly recommend!

Positive: The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating overall. The beach was beautiful, with easy access and plenty of fish to see. Negative: The alcohol was terrible—more like drinking medicine than enjoying a drink. The food was below average, and the restaurants felt like a scam; they served the same food as the main cafeteria. The pools, advertised as heated, were freezing cold all week. We didn’t see a single person in the massive pool area because it was completely unusable. The tiny water park with three slides was also closed. Entertainment was very basic. I was genuinely surprised by how many positive reviews this hotel had, considering how bad the drinks and food were.

It is an excellent resort, i visited with family teenagers and a young kid. We all loved the resort and especially the food :). The all inclusive food and drink are an awesome option. I loved the service especially Ahmed on reception helped us a lot. All people in the resort welcomed us all the time and provided what we needed. I will highly recommend it and will come back again.

This is a fantastic resort property. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The food and staff are fantastic. There were activities on the beach like volleyball and yoga. There is an onsite dive shop and an activity center that can book you for parasailing and snorkeling. I believe some of the reviews for this hotel said there is snorkeling right off the hotel beach, but I did not see any (it is a bay, not a coral reef). The only other negative is the resort area where this hotel is at is far away (35-45 mins) from some activities such as some snorkeling and diving tours and horseback riding (tour operators will charge you an extra fee for the longer distance pick up and drop off, approx $10-$12 per person) We loved our stay and we would like to come back again.

We had such a great holiday here. The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to welcome us, great animation, delicious food, amazing spa (I went for 4 massages and a pedicure). There were always sun beds, working WiFi, the beach is right there with great snorkelling and the kids loved it too.

​So I had 11 nights at this hotel. I chose the hotel based on the star rating system and the seeming price reflected its online portrayal. However, this could not be further from the truth as my first impressions were subdued and a little less "5 star reception" that I have been accustomed to in other hotels on the Egyptian resort coasts. Firstly, on arrival, the hotel from the outside looked like they were constructing a large structure (turns out it was for the New Years celebration....fine, no biggie). But on entrance into the Lobby and Hotel reception, it seemed a little....4 star-ish. Certainly not a 5 star entrance. The warm welcome however from the staff who checked me in was amazing. Same as was checking-out when they allowed me to stay for free for two more hours beyond the check out time. The resort's facilities, decor and 'offerings' seemed to be a bit short considering they were claiming to be 5 stars. For instance, the all-inclusive food buffett was nowhere near as amazing as my previous experience and I've been at 4 star hotels where they were providing way more of a service that felt 5 star-ish. The food was uninspired, not broad enough and cold. My room was sea view but when I entered, it smelt of stale cigarettes 9even though I requested non-smoking) and it had an old funky smell like it had not been cleaned in a long time. This proved to be true as I saw and observed dust gathered on door knobs and certain surface areas. The bathroom was not good at a

It's really great hotel with a good price. I'm returning the third time and hope to come next year again: beautiful coral reef you can reach directly from the hotel beach clean rooms and professional cleaners (thanks, Khalil) helpful reception free fast WiFi in all areas animation team (I liked fire show and exercises) beautiful decorations for Christmas tasty and diverse food (I'm vegan and was able to find food for my needs every day) property is not very big, but it didn't feel crowded even in Christmas if you like to walk, you have access to the long promenade from the hotels next to this one (from 6am to 8pm)

2nd stay in 3 months and it was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great food (lots of it). Hager (receptionist) is the best! Takes great pride in her work and very customer focussed. Special shout out also to Roji of the animation team. If I were to improve one thing it would be the evening entertainment as after 10pm there is nothing really and a bit of soft background music in the main lobby bar would create ambiance and be welcomed.

Whats not too like amazg place and value for money
This place is absolutely stunning..i originally booked for two nights intending to move elsewhere but everything about the resort is unbelievable so I have booked 3 more nights and may stay even longer and for go my plans to visit Luxor..the whole place is exceptionally clean and tidy ..the staff are amazing and the food is tasty beyond belief..There is the usual buffet offering which is amazingly varied and of exceptional quality and there is the option to reserve a dinner spot at one of 5 different themed restaurants..offering 3 to 5 course meals of very high standard.The rooms are impeccably clean spacious and comfortable and you get free wifi with no connection issues ,anywhere on the premises..all the staff are lovely and obviously enjoy working here.

What a great stay we’ve had a Prima Life Makadi Bay. The hotel amenities are excellent – an array of swimming pools and direct access to a private beach with an amazing reef just offshore. My partner isn’t a confident swimmer so she preferred to stay on the shore-side of the reef which is in-depth for most adults. On the other side of the reef the water is much deeper and the coral and fish even more spectacular. Our room was well-appointed with a balcony, comfortable bed, and very considerate touches like a kettle, mini fridge and ever a drying line in the bathroom. Beach towels are provided in your room and are enormous. Everything was just so well thought-out. Food was great with a huge variety of choice at every sitting. Most of all the team members were so welcoming, attentive and warm. Special mention to Mahmood the pasta / omelette chef and the lady who bakes in the bread oven

We just finished our stay and the accommodations were incredible. Service and staff was really fantastic. Food was typical Egyptian offerings with many extras. Grounds always clean and spotless. Room was very clean and our housekeeper was super nice. You can find everything at the hotel no need to even leave the hotel. From pharmacy to handbags to jewelry….all!

Ahmed à l’entrée a été un véritable fléau pour nous à chaque sortie, il se mêlait de ce qui ne le regardait pas et son comportement associé à celui de certains chauffeurs uber malhonnêtes a rendu notre séjour infernal. À part cela, la chambre était spacieuse et propre. L’hôtel est grand avec une grande piscine impraticable car glacée (tout l’hôtel se retrouve donc à la plage. La nourriture était “particulière” le pain fait maison était excellent mais certains plats manquaient de goûts et les choix étaient relativement limités. Les fruits n’étaient pas forcément mûrs donc durs à manger. Les réceptionnistes étaient adorables et avenants ainsi que le bagagiste.

A Perfect Blend of Relaxation & Diving Adventures
The Prima Life Makadi Hotel was perfect for a week's stay. I had the pleasure of having a solo diving holiday, where I was spending most of my time amongst the beautiful Makadi Bay coral reefs. But, when I had some down time, the hotel was perfect to just relax, and watch the day go by. The staff were all kind, pleasant and spoke good English. The property and facilities were clean and well managed. The location was excellent for any diving and snorkeling enthusiast, but also for anyone just wanting to relax in the sun. The management of the property and reception were very organised and kind. They let me use all the facilities up until leaving in the evening, even after checking out - showing how much they value their guests. Overall an excellent week away at the Prima Life. I would highly recommend to anyone wishing for a relaxing week away in the sun.

The bar and cleaning staff is very friendly. The reception staff was not very helpful when I asked for a late check out. The resorts coral reef is very beautiful. The food, especially the fresh made pizzas at the beach bar and the fresh made bread, were very tasty. Overall the resort is very nice but their entertainment team was very annoying and irritating. Hearing them constantly shouting “stretching let’s gooo” or volleybal or pétanque etc… ruined it for me. That and the people doing constant rounds trying to sell trips or massages at the wellness center. Would also have been nice to get a ground plan of the resort when checking in.
