Great location for seeing sights, friendly and helpful staff went above to help us find medicine when not feeling well, umbrellas available at both doors which came in handy during stormy weather. Would stay again!

A perfect hideaway adjacent to the main shopping and dining streets in Vienna. Easy access to the UBahn for a trip to the Palace and ride to the train station!

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It was in a great location for central Vienna and all the sights. The room was excellent and the breakfast set us up for the day. We would recommend the Romischer Kaiser.

This hotel is located in an excellent location. Very close to many restaurants and shopping. We walked to lots of sights. They should not advertise AC. The room had one small Ac that barely had any cool air coming out. It was a very difficult to sleep even with 2 fans. It was about 28c and the room brought no relief from the heat. I can’t imagine being in this hotel when it’s above 30c like it has been lately

This is a classically beautiful hotel, located in a wonderful position near galleries, shops, restaurants and concert venues, in a most beautiful city. We are in our 70s and loved it.

Great hotel
Fantastic hotel in a great location. Warm welcome from staff, with a complimentary upgrade to a suite. Room was huge, well equipped, and spotless. Enough storage, mirrors, and plugs. Toiletries great quality. Would stay again and have recommended to friends.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in a deluxe room. The hotel is situated in an excellent location to get to al popular attractions. It is very central but in a quiet cobbled authentic side street. The breakfast is very good with a lot of choice and as much as you want to eat. It is very clean but needs updating. It is in traditional style but shows its age. Our shower was from the bath taps although strong enough. Both plugs do not fit properly n the sick and bath. The bed is comfy. **Our main issue has been the air con. It just has not been adequate for the hot temperatures. We have not slept at all. Being in the room hasn’t been pleasant any time of the day but unbearable at night. When we asked we were told that there was nothing that could be done and we were offered a fan which did very little**. Sadly because of the air con we would not recommend.

Do not stay here in the summer! The property does NOT have air conditioning! They say they do, but we had it set to the lowest temp and highest output and it was barely cool and you could only feel it blowing if you put your hand right on it. It was 90F/32C outside and much hotter inside. We couldn't spend any down time during the day in our room. We couldn't sleep at night. Upon bringing this up to the lady at the front desk, we were given a small fan that didn't help that much. We were given an excuse of the AC system being 30yrs old. This isn't a cheap hotel - use the money to upgrade your AC, it's not meant to work for 30yrs! Or stop misleading people and don't write that you have Air Conditioning when you don't! When we asked to get a refund/discount, we were told the manager will be in in half an hour. However, no phone call came, no one tried to contact us that day or the next. When asked again, we were told he is now on vacation. Also, they charge 28eur per person for breakfast, which is ridiculous. You can eat way way cheaper at most cafés right outside the front door. Oh, and it's just as hot in the breakfast area as the rest of the hotel. The room was small, barely space to open our suitcase. Every drawer in the room is only 3-4 inches deep- so you can't put your clothes in them. Room temp was melting chocolate. Took everything out of the minibar and used the fridge to keep our food cool. That fridge was never cold either, just cool. Wouldn't stay again

This is a great property with a central location but in a quiet street. The hotel is very clean with excellent customer service. The staff is very professional and friendly. The only concern we had in our room was that the shower floor gets very slippery while showering since the shower tub only has half a door that blocks the water, so if you have small kids or the elderly need to be careful. Lots of restaurant options near buy, stores, shopping and walkable to many main attractions. We had a great time in Vienna and definitely would stay in this hotel if we visited Vienna again!

Great central location. The hotel was nicely decorated in ornate Viennese style and maintained well. Our visit was summertime and the area experienced hotter than normal temperatures. Unfortunately the hotel air conditioning unit could not keep up with the heat and humidity load. The air from the room unit felt like recirculated fan air - no cooling. The room air did not feel cool until 2-3 AM and was just marginally cool. We were able to get a room fan to move the air more. It was the most uncomfortable 4 nights I have experienced. I do not feel the hotel can claim to have A/C during the summer. This may be true for a lot of European boutique hotels but temperatures above 80-85 degrees Fahrenheit overwhelm this A/C unit.
