The management company was terrible, made a mistake and out right lied to us. At 7am on the 2nd last day of our stay, I was contacted by them thru text and email, notifying us of a "small issue". They double booked the last day of our stay and we needed to vacate the condo immediately. I expressed our disappointment and the inconvenience in packing up and resettling 2 families and trekking our stuff across the complex to another condo, which only had 2 bdrms instead of the 3 bdrms we originally booked.
This ruined our last day of vacation but we helped her get out of her screw up. So for this, we were promised on 3 separate occasions in writing, that we will not be charged for the last day and will be given a gift certificate for 2 nights to use in the future.
Upon checkout, I asked again to confirm that we will not be charged for the last night and also asked about the gift certificate. There was no response.
Over 2 weeks later, I was charged the full amount to my credit card. It included the last night and was even more than was quoted when I made the reservation. No statement was ever given itemizing the charges. I emailed and texted her regarding the charge and the gift certificate but again there was no response.
When I booked, I read the negative reviews about the poor management but gave them a chance. I never write reviews but in this case, I am compelled to warn other travelers and I hope other family vacations are not ruined by such brutal management.
