It tricks you, pictures of room do not match actual. There is another hotel named same but other is better location its close (walking distance of most turist attractions) this hotel is far, so needed to take uber at all time thus increased cost. and to deceive you more, it cost same as other that has better location. no water, no iron, needed to ask for toilet paper, breakfast not included 10 Euros and need to walk for 10 min to other hotel and menue is more continental so for that price can enjoy something better on local coffee shop. i usually never complain, just feel people need to be aware and hotels.com shouldn't even have this hotel on app. very disappointed

Comfortable and pleasant place to stay with well furnished, spacious room, helpful staff, decent breakfast and good wifi. It's a great location too: up the hill to Istikial St and Taksim Square or down the hill to the Bosphorous and the old city, and the Galata Tower is about 7 mins walk away,

Nice hotel close to everything
To begin with, the hotel is situated in an amazing area. 5 min walk from Galata tower, Sishane metro station and Karakoy tramvay statio. The hotel staff are so friendly and respond to all your needs in a timely manner. We didn't need to waste any money on Taxi because major tourist attractions and all the boats were a walking distance away. This hotel is simple in terms of the room, breakfast but the LOCATION is PERFECT if you're a tourist. Also at night you can go out and up the hill and see the view of the ENTIRE city and just enjoy the view. Our room was with 2 double beds, had an AC and teapot, and was very spacious for the 4 of us. Would definetly recommend for people who are looking for something affordable and great location.

Average place to stay, not a real hotel
The rooms are very clean and the staff people are helpful. However, the "hotel" is very hard to find even by taxi drivers. It is almost in the middle of no where. To go to any interesting place, you definately need a taxi as walking up a steep hill is a terrible experince, especially with children. There is no elevator and you have to go up a relatively steep, curved staircase. there is no breakfast buffet. Rather, each guest gets a plate that has 1 boiled egg, 2 slices of white cheese, 2 slices of yellow cheese, 2-3 slices of tomato, 2-3 slices of cucamber, black olives, honey/jam/butter and coffee/tea.

Budget hotel close to Galata tower
The hotel is clean and renovated. Staff are nice and helpful. Walking distance from Sisani metro station and Galata tower but it is located in back street and difficult to find for taxis. Also too small for families with children. The hotel itself is very small. The hotel and Expedia website have wrong information about room beddings. It claims that a room for five has two king beds and a sofa b d but in fact the beds are double not king size and too small for two adults. hope this can bed fixed on the website. We would not have stayed here if we knew the bed were only doubles.

Booked a room online. Waited a fair amount for someone to check me in. When someone finally came they told me my room was full and that the price online was cheaper than what it should be. They offered me another room for an extra charge, which was quite significant. I had to find another hotel late at night as a result.

nice, clean family hotel in creepy alley, no view
Don't be afraid when you turn down the alley. The location is actually very convenient and close to a metro stop and within walking distance to nice restaurants and shopping. Do not, however, try to walk the back alleys....creepy!!! Looks like there was a fire and buildings are deserted with homeless guys in them, but you're fine if you stick to the main road. Staff was friendly...especially the manager. BEWARE if you are traveling with children they charge 10euros per night for anyone between 3 and 17. All adults are included in the given price. The room was very nice, plenty of room. Breakfast is okay one day, but wouldn't want it twice in a row.

Good location, quality of service and nice room for the price. Everything was walking distance from the hotel. The ocean is 5 minutes walking from the hotel as is Taksim Square and Galata Tower. Finding the hotel was a little difficult so make sure the taxi driver uses Google Map before leaving the airport. But it is easy to get to once you have arrived.

Great view from the top floor
Friendly and helpful staff. Pretty good breakfast, with the full variety of a typical Turkish breakfast and the option of an omelette. Our room had a sweet view of the water from the top floor, but the lower floors probably have pretty sucky views since the area has some junky buildings. If you try to get there by foot instead of taxi, be warned that Emekyemez Sokak ends in a big hill of asphalt chunks, which we had fun climbing with luggage. :/ Other than that we had a great experience. Very close to Galata, Istıklal Caddesi, and the Şişhane metro station, which was very convenient. Not far from Karaköy either. Of course the hotel was pretty tiny like most in Istanbul, and there was no elevator. But if you get the "quadruple" room like we did, it's a good size with a couch and chairs and a "king size" bed, which is more like a queen size bed to the rest of the world. Great value with the Expedia discount!
