Best choice
Our biggest regret was we needed to stay on but the hotel was fully booked. We will miss the fabulous breakfast, service etc... even a nice gift when leaving. Just a tip, avoid the top floor when weather is HOT... we moved to 2nd floor and air-con perfect. Can recommend this hotel!

It was really amazing to stay in Celine Hotel! It's a quiet place in the historical center of Istanbul. Interior design was created by a very intelligent designer. It is comfortable to use, beautiful, made by natural materials and long lasting. Beds are absolutely comfortable and breakfast was wonderful. Staff is very polite and intelligent. It was really a pleasure to stay in Celine hotel! Thank you very much!

Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable but hotel needs maintenance. E.g. lift door on 2nd floor was broken but staff insisted to bring luggage to room and Helped bring down. Toilet plumbing had been connected to hot water supply in our room so bidet had scalding hot water, as Muslims this was really inconvenient. Also rooms should be soundproofed. Can hear the guests upstairs and if someone is walking past or talking outside the room, it echoes in the room which is disruptive at night. Breakfast menu could have more options and the buffet items should be labeled.

We loved our stay at the Celine Hotel. Great location and lovely rooms. The bed was so comfortable! Breakfast was amazing and in such a nice little Cafe. Definitely recommend this hotel for your first time in Istanbul.

The location is in the center of the old Istanbul at the European side, and it is within a walking distance to all major tourist attractions including Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. However, the amenities of the hotel is kind of old and my room is small without any views.

Great location for major tourist attractions; easy to get to by metro or tram. It is near many mosques and so you will hear the call to prayer at 4am and other times of day. Breakfast is amazing!

The hotel was lovely, the bed wonderfully comfortable, breakfast delicious, and Mursel (who checked us in, arranged our transfers from and to the airport, and gave us excellent dining recommendations) was spectacular! If/when I return to Istanbul, I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The Celine is a well-kept converted Ottoman property located in a very nice central location, close to historical places and public transportation, We stayed here twice over the past month on our Istanbul to Athens and back to Istanbul legs o our trip. It is a small property, so the staff gives you a very personalized experience. I can't say enough about the Manager of the property Nezvat who was very helpful in helping us with anything we needed during both our stays. We stayed in a room in the front which could get a little noisy if you are jet lagged so at our request we got another excellent room overlooking the Bosphorus Straits. The rooms are spacious and very clean and well equipped. The breakfast is very hearty and the young man (forget his name) made me one of the finest cups of Americano coffee. The breakfast selection is also good. The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace are all within walking distance and so also is the trolley. You can buy a Turkey Kart or multiple trips and buy the card at the Sultanahmet station nearby. Nevzat and other hotel staff helped book fixed rate cabs to and from the airport and the fare is 1,000 Turkish liras. If I visit Istanbul again, will definitely stay at Celine Hotel again.

A classic, wonderful experience.
We found this hotel very inviting and comfortable. The setting is classic and fun. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic with a good variety and attention to detail. Their cook is quite talented indeed. Concierge staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Location was brilliant to key sites. We hope to return.

We fully recommend the Celine Hotel Ottoman for a stay in Istanbul. It is within walking distance of many of the old town attractions and The Grand Bazaar. The accommodation is excellent, beautifully furnished and very clean. The breakfast buffet is also very good. A special mention to the staff that work in the hotel, they are very helpful and professional in their jobs. The rooms were cleaned to a very high standard, the Reception staff were superb, very helpful and gave us some good advice on the area, A great hotel. We would definitely stay there again. Top marks.
