Great hotel, right on the beach. Two swimming pools never too busy, plus a hot tub. Beautiful property. Convenient having a restaurant on site and easy parking.

My stay at Kauai Shores was everything I needed. The room was clean and looked after every day. The staff was wonderful, polite and free valet service was an additional plus! Steps away from the beach and an additional lagoon area with beautiful landscaping. They also have free daily yoga on the lawn, weather permitting. Location was also ideal, close to the airport and midway between the North and South parts of the island. And steps away from the Coconut Market! Having the Lava Lava Club at this location was convenient and dining with toes in the sand was fun! I even enjoyed watching the chickens! Overall I had a lovely vacation and would definitely book here again.

AC in your face
Cleanliness is fine, it was recently renovated, apparently. The AC blows air right into your face, when you're in bed. It's positioned on the wall to the left of the bed and the wall is 4 feet (1meter) away. If you like that, you'll have an awesome time. Right now I'm reviewing bc I can't sleep, I had to shut it down.

Very beautiful, just wish the ground floor rooms had a light curtain on top of the black out curtain so i could let some light in during the day. Sadly, I had to keep the curtains closed as people were always walking by outside.

Was given a handicap room for some reason. So shower situation was not good and did not have a closet. Not able to hang up our clothes. I would assume the normal rooms are much better. Other than that, place was very enjoyable. The valet crew was great. Enjoyed speaking with them every day about football.

We were very happy with Kauai Shores Hotel. It appeared to be recently renovated, and everything was very clean and well kept. The staff was mostly friendly, accommodating and helpful. The property was more of a resort that just a hotel! We would definitely go back!

This was our second time staying at Kaui Shores we were so impressed to see that the rooms had been renovated. As always the customer service was excellent especially Novella from the front desk receptionist such a great personality she was the best. We really enjoyed the musical performances every night at the hotel beachfront restaurant. We will definitely return to Kaui Shores in our next visit.

Kauai Shores us right in the ocean so dining Is very pleasant . The grounds and staff were nice However my room had a shower and coffee maker that did not work which I found out at 11PM so I went to bed . I reported the next morning but no one available to fix it. The price was high so I expected more for my money.
