"Joo Chiat road is in the Katong neighborhood and a part of Perankan culture. Don't forget to visit the Peranakan mansion down the street. the bus syrem and trains in Singapore make it easy to get around. We visited Gardens bg the bay, little India, Orchard Road and the Night Safari (Mandai- Singapore Zoo) using public transportation. "

"Loved how close it was to subway, and bus routes. Hawker centre and also mall close by. Accommodations were excellent and well kept."

"We stop here for a late night early morning flight . The hotel was very good ,I would have stayed again but it's a little far from the main highlights of the city . It had the biggest breakfast buffet I've ever seen . The hotel front desk is on the 4th floor (kind of interesting) . The taxi from the airport was about $30 , back was $25 . You could get there by subway but it's over an hour ,the taxi is 10 to 15 min. "
