Lovely one night stay in a castle
Cabra Castle was our last stop on our self-driving tour of Ireland and it was lovely! Very much enjoyed the room and hotel accommodations! The service was excellent, the grounds beautiful and the food was delicious! We highly recommend!

Our stay was absolutely fabulous! The room we had was beautiful and clean. I think we had the best night's sleep of our life on the most comfortable bed ever. The castle grounds were so pretty and easy to walk around. Dining experiences were wonderful and delicious.

The castle was made into an amazing historic hotel complete with so much original architecture. We stayed in one of the cottages which were new builds but so well designed that you might think you were in part of a historic castle. The cottage was very spacious and well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable.

The staff were brilliant. Emma was fantastic, very welcoming and deserves all the bonuses you could ever give her. The grounds and beautiful and the room was lovely and very comfortable. We have been to stay before and we will be back again hopefully in the near future.

From the Hotels.com information I thought that the hotel was in the centre of Kingscourt but it is on the outskirts and certainly not walking distance. The location is very picturesque and the grounds are well maintained. Without exception the staff were helpful and friendly and are a great asset to their employer. We had a room in a lodge which is not in the main building and was comfortable and clean with a decent shower, linen and toiletries. I would have had an excellent night's sleep if it hadn't been for the rowdy guests who returned in the middle of the night to move furniture and continue partying.

Lovely venue. Grounds are beautiful. Beds very comfortable and rooms are a very generous size. Only grumble is the sound insulation, difficult to tackle in an old castle I’d concede but the people above or to the side don’t have to be particularly loud before it becomes intrusive. Food and service in restaurant was excellent
