Thanksgiving’24

The house was perfect for us. We used all three beds, the inflatable mattress that got great reviews! Our niece stayed 2 nights with us and slept on the pull out couch. The two bathrooms were great too. The only complaint was the lack of full size baking dishes and sheet pans. There was no foil and no trash bags but we got that from my sister. If it hadn’t been thanksgiving the kitchen would have been perfect.

Comfy Home in Keswick

The house was in a perfect location in Lexington. Nice, walkable neighborhood, and close to UKY. We had plenty of room and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with anything we needed. The home has a lovely deck and backyard. Would be nice to have a grill. Overall, we'd love to come back again!

Stayed here with our family and had a great time. Very spacious backyard on a quiet street but close to everything. Communication, check in and check out were all great and very easy. Definitely reccomend

Great location, great communication with owner.

The community is very nice and inviting. The owner was very responsive and gave suggestions of things to see and do in the area. Some things could be updated regarding decorating but that isn't a big deal. Beds were comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet.

Great house in a great location

House was perfect for our group of 4. Neighborhood was quiet and cute. The coffee shop/bar down the road was awesome and we found ourselves a fun new little place to get a pick me up when we visit. Owner was responsive and gave us great suggestions for places to visit and eat during our stay. We were very satisfied and would not hesitate to stay here again. Next time we will bring our fur babies, since the home is pet friendly and the fenced in back yard would be perfect for our pets. Thank you!

Lexington Getaway

We (college friends in their 70's) enjoyed our stay and had everything that we needed except we are college football fans and missed some TV games on Saturday night. The house lacked cable TV or the capability to stream. It had an antenna. Any other visit this would not have been a problem. Overall it was great. We were within walking distance (about 2 miles) to Kroger Field. We loved the neighborhood and was similar to the one that I live. I recommend this place and the owner was very good with providing places to eat and other information.

The house was lovely but we had a few issues. The dishwasher didn't work, the dryer didn't want to start at first, the refrigerator didn't get cold for several hours. There was dog poop in the back yard, and we found a dry singular piece in the house. The floors are very creaky. A neighbor saw a family member bring their dog in while visiting and contacted the owners, who immediately tried to charge us a pet fee instead of asking us if we had pets in the house, which we did not. We left a day early because we were ready to get home and because the weather channel said there were storms coming in the next day.

Nice home. Easy stay

The neighborhood is lovely. The house nice and clean. Landlord was highly responsive, dropping off paper towels promptly after we let her know there were none. Nice deck out back for quiet visiting. Not a party house and not a party neighborhood, which suited us quite well.

Perfect for our needs

Exactly as described with a wonderful fenced backyard for our dogs. Lots of room with nice beds. All types of utensils and pots and pans and dishes with some extras like seasonings, coffee, etc. Nice location not far from downtown, groceries, coffee cafe, and a park! We would recommend this place for sure!

Great Spot

Stayed here for Breeders Cup weekend which was at Keeneland. It was exactly as described. Great patio on the back we enjoyed one of the evenings. Very close to downtown and a short 15 minute ride to Keeneland. Easily 2 spots to park in driveway and street parking as well in a nice little neighborhood. Contact with owner was easy and I would definitely stay again.

Chewed out for not cleaning

Disappointed. House smells musty.Upper bath sink takes 10 minutes to get hot tub warms up a little faster but takes awile, very low water pressure. Sheets in front main floor bedroom covered with hair and soiled, had to change them prior to use. Sheets for the air mattress were Mia. Owner did have some delivered to house the second day of our stay. Handle on kitchen faucet wobbly. Then after we notified owners of our departure we got nasty text messages because we didn't strip the beds take out the recycling, we had not deflated the air mattress and we left behind some food that was extra assuming the house cleaning might use it, half a loaf of bread almost new mayonnaise and mustard, unopened water and juice bottles. I have never been expected to do house cleaning duties at a rental before, let alone be reprimanded for it. I normally would not have left this detailed of review, however I have never been chastised in 3 separate text messages after leaving a rental unit. Very disappointed in this treatment. Last time I checked I was the customer not an employee.

Great spot for a family gathering

My family traveled from all over to join together in Lexington for a memorial of our grandmother. This property was great! Clean, comfortable and plenty of space. Also a wonderful location. Easy walkable neighborhood.

Perfect for UK Graduation

This property was clean and comfortable. It was perfect for hosting a family gathering for graduation. The kitchen worked well, and the place was just charming. Safe neighborhood, close to everything UK. The lovely back deck and fenced in backyard was perfect for serving drinks and playing cornhole. Plenty of room for our family with 2 bedrooms and a bath downstairs, and the upstairs master, with a full bath, and with lots of extra floor space if we had needed an air mattress.

Lovely property, awful property management company

Once we got past a few hiccups with getting the entry code, we really enjoyed our stay. The home is quaint, clean and we loved the fenced in backyard. The neighborhood is quiet and within close proximity to restaurants, stores, a park and UK. Ann was terrific. We will never work with Evolve, the property management company, again. Their email communications are canned & impersonal. They don't respond on the VRBO site. And, they wanted to charge us for a second time for our pets - even after I provided them with the payment breakdown from their own site showing the pet fee had been charged & paid for. Yup, I had to walk them through how to read their own fee & payment information. I will give credit to Darlene (thank you!) in the Evolve office, as she was very helpful with getting the entry code when I called (because they don't respond well to emails not communicate on the VRBO site.

Absolutely Terrific Inside & Out

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The house is clean and comfortable, with an awesome backyard/patio. Its location is great, in a lovely part of Lexington that's nice and close to downtown. Five stars all the way - highly recommend for the price.
