Checking in was easy, but when we got to the room, it looked much older than the pictures online. As we started unpacking and getting the kids ready for bed, we pulled out the sofa bed and found it in a condition that looked like a crime scene. I went to the front desk to request a room change, and it turned into a battle. The manager immediately said no, even though another staff member pointed at the computer and mentioned there was a room available. The manager shook her head and said that because I booked through a third party (Expedia), she couldn’t accommodate us. When I asked what she could do for us, she offered complimentary snacks if we stayed in the room. I was furious and ended up booking a room down the street. Hyatt from now on! I wish I could add pictures of the room.

Somewhat clean but not impressed
I typically give rave reviews, so will start with the positive - the price was reasonable, when we had an issue a couple of staff were quite helpful, the room was mostly clean, everything worked in the room, there were no bugs minus a single harmless stink bug. Unfortunately, there were a lot of issues with our stay including dirty/soiled mattress cover on the pull out couch, three towels in the room for a four person reservation, empty bottles of bath supplies in tub, evening staff muting the front desk phone for room support, ripped couch cushions, no room service option to take out trash or recycling over weekend, lack of usual amenities (cold water in hot water carafe in lobby in evening, lack of cups, dirty counter). To be honest, I am grateful we found a room over such a busy weekend, but expect certain standards when staying in a hotel. I swear we are not high maintenance folks, but there is a usual standard for these things, especially for a Marriott. Not really impressed.

So clean and beatiful. I stay here every year but this time and last, the pool is crazy cold and hot tub is slimey and smells really gross. Dirty water. This place is so clean and fresh and wonderful except for the pool and hot tub. Wish they would hire someone to handle that,

First of all we walked in and heard so much screaming and yelling coming from the pool areas and it was filled with kids. We were setup on the 4th floor so thankfully we couldn’t hear the screaming up there. We wanted to relax and watch some college football and the tv and cable would only stay on for a few minutes and then shut off. We called down to the lobby and they said the whole hotel is experiencing this. We tried to use the stairs to get some extra steps and found that the door was locked to the stairwell which I believe is a major fire hazard. We went down to the complimentary breakfast at 8:30 am and there were no plates left and no eggs.
