Overall experience was okay. Breakfast was good but I wasn’t satisfied with the room itself. Wifi barely worked, bathroom was small and the shower area had mold on the ceiling. The door handle going out to the balcony almost broke apart when I opened the door. AC barely worked as well. The interior seems modern but it’s slowly falling apart. I wouldn’t recommend people to stay here

Happy stay
Initially we had issues with the WiFi, television and air conditioning at the hotel. They tried to fix it immediatly. However, by the next day we still were not happy and requested a refund. We were then offered the Alternative to move to another room or another of their hotels. We chose to move and had no issues with anything there. The air conditionig was good, TV worked well and so did the wifi. Rooms were clean and the staff friendly. I would recommend this place.

Great Location & Superb Staff
My Hotel was changed to the Saldanha from the Luxe. So hope review can be attributed to the right Hotel. Perfect comfort & staff were marvellous & on hand whenever required. Given stay was during the Pandemic the place functioned superbly. Can’t fault in any way!!!

We stayed for a week, the personnel at the reception was very courteous and nice, the rooms are clean with basic features, good bathroom, no a/c at this time since is central and is winter they had only heater, we needed to turn off heather and open the balcony (as regular in Europe). The Metro stop is around 3 blocks from the Hotel. There are only 2 very good restaurants close: Raposo and the best was in the next door to the hotel entrance: Vaskus Grill, excellent food and service!!!

Could not access wifi in my room, no matter what i tried. The tv was the size of an ipad. The air conditioning did not work, resulting in a stuffy and humid room. The main wall in room displayed significant water damage. Staff was friendly.

My wife is disabled and the room was extremely small making accessing the bathroom very difficult. The breakfast was limited. We realised very soon that we were a long way from the sights and had to frequently take taxis although these were cheap and easily available.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming , they helped me a lot with finding out places to go to. The only critique I can give is that the WiFi is very slow and the continental breakfast does not provide a hot meal which is not worth the €8 in my option besides that a very good hotel to stay in with big rooms provided.

Location good for us. Basic small room but mattress hard- no cushioning so I slept on blanket as a pillowtop. Our major complaint was a foul sewage smell from drains in Bathroom which permeated the entire bedroom. Offer to change room declined because on checking it had the same problem. Housekeeping attempt to resolve problem was short lived..

-It's a good hotel only for short trips; -The area where is placed after 10:00pm-11:00pm becomes quite tricky; -25 min walk from center; -WI-Fi it's awful - useless.
