Dusty room???

Wanted to stay over for my birthday, unfortunately something about the room triggered a coughing fit for me to the point i was throwing up. From when I tried to sleep at 10pm-1am , I was constantly coughing, unable to catch my breath. I don’t know whether the room was so dusty or it was a coincidence, there was no way I could sleep here. My 9 month old stayed with my partner and I, her cot was unbelievably uncomfortable, it was like she was lying on wood so she had to join us on the bed which of course isn’t safe sleeping. My partner said he had never seen me cough like it. We checked out after 1am and got home for 2.30am. As soon as i got in the car and left, my chest felt lighter and i felt like i could breathe again! Im convinced it was the room we stayed in. I have never experienced throwing up multiple times from coughing so hard. Safe to say my birthday stay was ruined. So unfortunate.

Okay but not worth the cost

Room was average, definitely not worth £180 paying purely for location. The bed had a slope in the middle. There was a half eaten sandwich thrown on the floor next to the lifts when we got there. Also paintwork in some areas of the hotel could be improved. I don’t think I would stay here again at this price.

Meh - room was small but fine.

Three of the four times we spoke to reception, the interaction didn't really seem friendly at all. Our room smelt of cigarette smoke when we went in and when had the shower on it smelt even worse.

Clean decent hotel

I’ve stopped here a few times and it’s always ticked the boxes clean, convenient and good value. Car park is a bit of a faff getting ticket authorised every time you leave but there is a 24 hour reception so manageable

In need of a lot of maintenance

Hotel staff were helpful but the condition of the hotel was very poor. The bar was so cold people were sat eating meals with either thick jumpers or coats on, electric heaters were on but were inadequate, in the room after 6 hours of heating being on full the room was barely warm and the heater itself was incredibly noisy, impossible to sleep with the noise it made, the staff brought an electric heater to us which made it better. The plug on the kettle was smashed see pictures, the switch was missing from the night light so use at your own peril. The mattress had springs gone which stuck in your ribs all night. In need of a lot of general maintenance to get back up to standard

Location location location

Going to Liverpool few times a year... All we need is this Hotel really as its not only extremely well located, but also clean, warm and full of good and hardworking staff! Love their breakfast

Convenient and near attractions

Very close to Albert Dock (across the road) and 5 mins walk from Liverpool One shopping. Friendly staff. Parking was no problem, lots available £10 from when you arrive for 24hrs, £1 extra per hour if you go over. Would definitely stay again.
