I like the convenience of the property, everything is there. Cleanliness of the property. I dont like, the staff not too accomodating, not helpful, doesnt smile. Refrigerator not available for free. N o exhaust fan innthe bathroom.

Expensive as any place I've ever been but to maintain the staff and upkeep it is probably fair. The resort is massive and must cost over $50,000 to $100,000 a day to maintain and staff.

The art decor was very nice and welcoming. However, we expected more attention to detail. I requested a crib a week before the trip and was told it was noted for my room. When we arrived it was as if we were creating a reservation for the 1st time. We had to provide our names again it was weird. And then I had to call down and ask for the crib along with a working TV remote. I would suggest providing beach bags for guests that would be helpful. Overall it was okay. Some areas to polish if they really want to provide a luxury experience.

I’m going back.
My first to the Bahamas was definitely an enjoyable one esp. staying at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar. I was warmly welcomed by Martiqua who went over and beyond to make sure my next trip to the Bahamas, I call G.H Baha Mar home. Check-in was smooth and I didn’t have to wait too long for my luggage to be delivered. The room was clean, aesthetically pleasing and vivid cinematic views night and day. The hotel has many restaurants but Sticks (Asian cuisine) became my fave. Most of the staff was very pleasant and help esp. navigating the hotel. There’s lots to do e.g catch a show, try your luck in the casino, go on a peace walk and shopping. I must say shopping from the high-end brands wasn’t that bad. Also got my make-up done at MAC after spending about $85 (the make-artiste definitely slayed). I know with all the things to do on the property, one might not want to leave but I suggest you explore the island. I ask Martiqua for places to visit during the day and night-life and she was eager to share all her recommendations, thank you again Martiqua. Getting transport from the hotel was easy. I didn’t have to wait long and was given the option of cash or credit card taxi. Like I mentioned before, I’m most definitely returning to the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar on my next visit to the Bahamas and I hope this helps narrows down someone’s choice. In addition: * Solo and couple friendly because they have an adult only side. * Family friendly (lots of activities) * Cigar Enthusiast
