The hotel is a grat location in the city front desk were very helpful. The hotel was very clean our room was very spacious with a jacuzzi bath. The breakfast was fantastic of a high quality and well presented. We will definitely be returning again

Amazing stay
Amazing stay rang me in the way down and asked if we would like an upgrade, which we took and we got an amazing suit with hot tubs in the room. Would recommend staying here, staff are friendly and happy to help. Room up grade was a really nice added bonus to make the stay even better

Low ambient lighting. Friendly cheerful staff from reception to the cleaners. Everyone, especially Danielle were really nice and customer friendly. Bar staff also very accommodating as there are no fridges in the room. They kindly provided an ice bucket with plenty of ice each time I asked. We (2) stayed for 5 nights and were given a really nice room for 4, to make our stay more pleasant. The jacuzzi bath was brilliant. Breakfast was included and was a mix of traditional full English and Continental with cereals. The smoked salmon was the best part but it wasnt available on the Thursday for some reason. However the hot buffet beakfast selection was plentiful. There was also orange, apple and cranberry juice available. As well as iced water. However on Thursday there was no ice in the water. They have a coffee machine which gave a decent seletion of coffees too. Bar has a pork scratchings oven too. I would highly recommend this hotel as it is really close to all the shops and the museum. There is air con in the rooms and an extra oil filled radiator. The hair dryer was in a bag in the wardrobe...took me ages to find it as I thought it was a laundry bag at first! The wardobe had a tendency of opening by itself too. Lots of mirrors in the room too. Being only 5 ft 2, I found the bathroom mirror a bit too high. The TV is fixed so you can't swivel it around on an angle like on a cruise.

We like this one!
Really liked this place, classy, comfy and quirky! Despite the name the football connection is very low key but the place is very blue! Reception and bar very nice, our room was big and well furnished with some quirky decor. breakfast was ok, just the usual buffet. car park 1 min city centre 2 mins, will stay again

Fantastic Location in the City
I’ve stayed at the hotel a few times now and every time had a different style hotel room. Most are spacious and this time it was huge. Two double beds, that could be made into 4 singles and 2 large chesterfield style sofas. Jacuzzi bath with shower above. Very convenient to city shops, restaurants and night life.

Wonderful hotel. Reception staff couldn’t have been nicer, they kept our bags for us whilst we went shopping before we could check in and were very helpful with knowledge of the local area and events. Room was huge and very clean. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Awful dirty room which stunk carpet filthy stained tv on wall didnt pull out so pointless having it .stayed next door to guests from hell avoid at all cost staysomewhere better.

Hotel staff were very good. The bar and seating area are well presented. The rooms are a little dated and tired. Windows sealed closed so unable to open. carpets not very clean. and very dark (low level lighting throughout the hotel) breakfast service is very good and the food was good.

Another great shopping stay
Group of 4 girls stayed 2 nights. Great stay yet again. room was spacious. Lighting ok and loved the 3 dressers. Aircon not working but coped fine. Check in was quick and easy. Male Reception and Bar/restaurant staff great and friendly. Breakfast was great. Beds need new mattresses as springs can be felt but again managed.
