Nice hotel, poor breakfast.
Overall good, apart from the hot breakfast at best was lukewarm, and not of a standard i would of expected, hot water in the electric tanks for tea and coffee was also not hot enough to enjoy the drink.

This property fancies itself. Staff are cold. Had to request 3 days running for the basin to be repaired. Faded decor in places. Stains on carpets- dog friendly . No proper restaurant in the evenings and staff confused about whether there is one or not!

At check-in I was greeted with the fact this hotel adds an optional 5% service charge to the bill (which they forget to ask if you want removing at check out) - for what? I reserved a room, you gave me the room I reserved and so deserve a tip for doing what I am already paying a lot of money for? Absolutely dreadful attitude. Oh and a frosted glass window looking in from the bedroom into the shower/ toilet, which genius came up with that?

we arrrived on check in time 3 - was told the rooms were still being cleaned , then they chanhged their minds - checked in 4 rooms - group of 8 - soons as we went in our room for a hsower it burst , flooded the toilet , told reception before we went out for eve - did not sort , could not get shower in the morning - hotel was having renovations done whilst there .
