We stayed in the Jr. Suite. The room was nicely decorated, very roomy with high ceilings and comfortable chairs, and quiet. It wad very clean and the staff was great. The breakfast is excellent. This hotel is a 3 minute walk from the Tube station, which was very convenient. The only negative is that the carpet throughout the hotel is worn out and needs to be replaced. Other than that, I would give it 5 stars.

Convenient to tourist attractions. Gloucester tube station is a 5 min walk. Lots or restaurants on Gloucester and more if walk 7 min to Earl”s court. Pleasant staff. Great location!!

Nice hotel in Kensington a few blocks from the tube station. Could use an update with finishes like carpet and outlets could be upgraded to the ones that have USB ports. We liked our room that had two single beds on upper/mezzanine loft level.

The staff were amazing and very accomadating. Great location near to tube and walkable to great sites,museums and dining. The rooms were on the small side and a little dated but you are in your room just sleep riht!!

Great quad rooms in this hotel. Lovely large shower. Ideal tube and proximity to museum and Albert Hall. Room was ready as we had arrived early which was a great bonus. I know people have commented on the smell. There is a slight smell not sure of what but it is not noticeable in the room. Friendly staff too.

We had a great couple of nights stay at the hotel when down in London for a Proms concert. It was really well-placed for South Kensington attractions and close to transport links. Handily placed for places to eat and shops as well. The room was a good size and very comfortable. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, letting us store our luggage and charge our phones before our flight home. Thoroughly recommended and already planning another trip!

The hotel is very convenient to get to as it’s located about 5 mins walk from Glouster Station. It’s located centrally in London and lets you reach to many places around the city. The hotel property definitely needs some renovation. Walls and carpets were certainly dirty and looked like they needed a fresh paint and carpets definitely needed a good cleaning. Property owners must consider some basic renovation to the property and rooms.

Great location - home away from home
I’ve been staying at this hotel since the mid 2000s I think. Love that it feels fairly centrally located in London off the Piccadilly line - so a straight shot on the tube from LHR and good jumping off point to go to other locations via the tube. A 3 block walk from Gloucester Road station to the hotel. Overall it’s a great place. Clean - good amenities in the room. Though felt like the room was a bit more dated this time around but not unexpected. Love that there’s a refrigerator in the room. Only had picky minor quibbles: the iron had black sticky stuff on it and left an iron impression on my shorts - and the do not disturb sign was missing from my room so I often got interrupted by the cleaning staff (at one point I thought the gentleman was going to bring me a door sign but didn’t happen and I was leaving the next day so no longer mattered). Also by luck of the draw when I arrived for check in at 11 am - my room wasn’t ready but the guy who came in two minutes after me his room was. Staff was lovely. Hotel is warm and welcoming. There is a waitrose (grocery store) en route to hotel and I think another - Sainsbury, two blocks just beyond the hotel - and plenty of food options and a Boots just off the tube. Safe area.

Loved the area in south kensington! A short walk from kensington park/palace and the national history museum. Literally next to the metro and tons of food in the area. Loved my stay here and felt super safe in the area as a solo traveller. Lovely hotel as well. Super chique.

The front desk staff was very helpful. Excellent location for the underground and shops and restaurants. The carpet really needs to be replaced. We were not required to scan our key card to get into the main doors, which is unsafe. Anybody could enter to the hotel and get into the room area without being questioned.
