Poor service for a major chain of hotels
We arrived early morning from Canada but rooms wasn’t available until 3pm or were had to pay 100 gbp. The room was not available until 4.30
There was no coffee tea etc, the cups and glasses were m
NOT washed everyday inspite of leaving messages for room cleaners. Also after staying out all day and returning at 5 pm the room wasn’t made and this happened most days.
At 5am in middle of our stay, was woken by tv message to say that I should settle the bill i.e 1 gbp for tel charge!,Paid them that but on checkout had to pay same again as receptionist didnt log my previous payment.

Have travelled to other hotels of this chain in Amsterdam etc but never got such poor service inspite of paying premium rates for staying at tha Riverbank hotel for 10 nights
We observed that the hotel was very busy with tour companies and people staying a night or two so they didnt really care
