Despite going to the wrong hotel and then being directed to the wrong lift, I enjoyed my stay. The room could have felt a little warmer and I did have to ask for extra supplies from Room Service, but the staff were very helpful especially re food allergies which were checked and checked again. A busy but welcoming hotel. Thank you.

We have stayed at this hotel many times due to the location but sadly standards are slipping. Curtains broken and hanging off the runner in the room which was sorted quite quickly, but surely someone should report and fix this before handing over to guests? No towels on arrival. I asked for a full set of towels and just got two bath towels and no hand towels which took ages to come and we were on a tight timescale on Friday evening. Lights flickering in toilet. Horrible drain smell in bathroom. When I checked for items under bed on leaving I discovered a very thick layer of dust. Probably not been cleaned under in years. Don’t expect them to clean under the bed every time but once a month would be something! Breakfast room is not big enough for a hotel of this size, only two coffee machines working. If the guests are staying more than one night they staff should give a nicer room/view. Location as said is great. Staff are friendly.

The property was very nice with excellent facilities HOWEVER we feel that corners were being cut. There was no daily room check, instead we were given a bottle of wine! In addition to this our room for 3 only had 2 of everything and we had to phone reception for the extras needed. It took 50 minutes for somebody to bring a mug as we were originally sent somebody from maintenance. When we asked for a toilet roll we were offered a towel- surely a basic understanding of English in London is not an unrealistic expectation.
