First of all, the staff was great. Super helpful in getting our television in working order. Second, bed comfortable, and fairly quiet given that we were on a busy street. Breakfast tasty and healthful and I wish mor hotels would include it. But one complaint; since we are in our seventies, elevators are important. This hotel has an elevator, but it also has rooms half a story up from the elevator which meant hauling a heavy suitcase up another seven steps. Second, I didn’t shower because the shower was dinky, and according to my husband who did shower, the water easily runs out onto the floor of the bathroom. A definite slip and fall hazard. And hotel room very small, double bed took up almost all of it and it was hard to move around for two people. Small rooms seem to be a British thing in general.

Cozy Paddington Hotel with Great Breakfast
The breakfast was to die for, including an entire fresh English course and many other options like cereal, fruit, yogurt, etc. The staff was very helpful and attentive, making suggestions of how to enjoy my visit to London.

It was a great stay for our days in London. Coming and going to Paddington station was super easy! Rooms were a bit cramped with space. Bathroom door couldn’t fully open without hitting the bed. And heater never worked. But it was a pleasant stay. Breakfast was great as well.

Rooms were clean and furnishings were very well maintained. Staff were VERY helpful and reception was available 24 hours. Breakfast was full English and/ or continental and we really liked it. There's a great little lobby area where you can avail yourself of tea and coffee too. The area is very close to Paddington train station and the underground. Very safe and very well served by restaurants from chains like Mcdonalds, Frankie and Benny's, Aberdeen steak house to ibdividual places like the Mughal and Motto.

Comfortable and Convenient
Apparently they’re going to renovate/refurbish the floor I stayed on… the room was clean, reasonably comfortable, there was a lift, breakfast was okay. But the room felt like a 1970s private jet’s bedroom. Even the bathroom was like an airplane bathroom (albeit with a small shower). Only 2 plugs, both on the opposite side of the room from the bed. The location was great for getting to Paddington (my main reason for choosing Stylotel), and it was fine, so I’d stay there again. It was just the most oddly decorated room I’ve ever seen in a hotel.

This is an excellent, small hotel which has been renovated with all the state of the art technological requirements. It has a very modern attractive interior. The staff provides outstanding customer service, especially Anrea, the manager. Granted, rooms are small but all tourist class London hotels are small. I've staid a week at a time and was fine with the room They also provide an English breakfast which is unusual for a hotel this size. Highly Recommended!
