Little dated but clean and comfortable
Got a decent last minute deal making the hotel reasonably priced. Rooms are a little dated and no air con but they do provide a fan. Room was comfortable and clean, buffet breakfast also worth the price

Hotel well located in a convenient location within easy walking distance to Oxford St, Euston Square & Russell Square Underground & other attractions. The room was extremely small & the bathroom tiny for 2 people. Bed was also very small for 2 adults & the room had no air conditioning, although it had a window that could be opened with a pleasant view of the park across the street. Staff were friendly & helpful. Overall Hotel looked like it needed a bit of an upgrade but was aware that some carpets were being replaced just after our stay. Good Hotel for single traveller, bit tight for 2 with suitcases etc.

The Tavistock Hotel is a convenient 9 minute walk away from King's Cross Station and represents good value for money. The room was a reasonable size, clean and well equipped Bar and dining facilties are comfortable, the quality of the breakfast is generally good snd sll staff pleasant and helpful I eould definitely book there again. The only downside was the continual noise from outside traffic and activity, pretty much throughout the night, but this was obviously outside the control of the hotel itself.

Tavistock 2 Night Stay
This was a really lovely hotel given it is only 3*. The staff were absolutely amazing, they went out of their way to ensure you had a really great stay. One of the best hotels I've stayed in in London. The staff are such a credit and it is run really well. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Everything was great, except cooling in the rooms. Please know the rooms are not air-conditioned. There is a fan that may be used, but you have to find it in the closet.

The room was incredibly hot and there was no aircon or fan. The window wouldn’t even open properly. It was so hot we had to have cold showers several time throughout the night to cool down. We spoke to someone at reception and were effectively told too bad.

Red hot room
Location is 10/10, especially if you happen to be travelling from Euston. Hotel is basic and a little dated. On a red hot day, the room was red hot with only a desktop fan to keep me cool. Biggest complaint was the plug for the shaver did not work.
