I felt a bit of nostalgia with this place,,older hotel updated reminded me of an olld Las Vegas style. Hotel, beautiful views,quiet clean amazing pool and restaurant pool side,,righht in the middle of casino area,,lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Loved our stay.

The property was clean and in an excellent location with shops, etc. within walking distance. The receptionist on call when we checked in, Josephine, was excellent. She was helpful and very accommodating. The room, however, had a musty odour which lingered for our stay. The bath had no barrier to prevent water splashing out when we showered so there was some spill on the floor. The room was cleaned daily and the bathroom linen replenished.

Sapphire Hotel passed its glory days. It probably was a very nice hotel back in the 80's. Shoddy work/repairs were very noticeable. I had problems with the room key card requiring daily trips to the front office to have the key card reactivated and this finally got fixed during my 4th day. Old squeaky gym machines. On the positive side, the staff was very professional!

For one night stay it's OK. I can't imagine staying a week there. Air condition is amazing considering the awful heat. Initial room cleanliness is acceptable. Beta are comfortable. However, the sheets that were delivered to our sofa bed were not washed properly. One other thing I realize about budget hotel stays is important bathroom facilities i.e. Toilets, they're always some disappointment. Our toilet would not flush properly. Why can't the basic plumbing stuff just be top priority for maintenance? There was a hot tub but it has not been maintained and cleaned in ages. Looks like it doesn't even work.

I enjoyed the ocean view including visibility to the pool. Location close to a nearby beach, walkable. I was not pleased with the service due to load sharing (electricity). Plus room door battery kept malfunctioning which created unnecessary inconvenience. Otherwise, a good stay overall.
