Decent hotel. Nothing special for the price.
Stayed here after my original accommodation had a power cut. I therefore paid through the nose as it was xmas and last minute. I felt for the price it eould be more plush/luxurious but it was just above basic. Nice bathroom, excellent shower. Comfy bed but pillows were not to my comfort needs. The room was darker and smaller than expected. For a property of this price and standard i would have definately expected a kettle and tea making facilities. The place was decent and no real complaints but not really value for money.

Nice hotel with a great lobby bar. Rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable, but towel racks were loose and shower door leaked. They turn off AC in November and our room was incredibly hot so we needed to keep the window open which was noisy. Walking distance to bars and restaurants and longer walk to all the sites. Breakfast was adequate, with cold selections only. Reception and bar staff were amazing.

Great location! Clean and spacious room. One thing, if you are an American traveling in the fall/winter, be advised there is no A/C in the room. Typical for any hotel in Europe.

Perfect location! Although this hotel is central and has great access to shops, restaurants and several metro stations it was also very quiet so we had a good nights sleep. We arrived late on a Monday night and the receptionist recommended a few nearby restaurants which would still be open. Over the next few days we tried them all and they were all really good and reasonably priced. The room itself and the bathroom were clean and looked like they had been freshly decorated. The room we had had a balcony and although the weather wasn't quite good enough for sunbathing I could see it being a pleasant place to sit on a warm summer's evening. I would recommend the hotel and the area if visiting Madrid.

Good hotel and great location
A great hotel and a good location. It was an easy walk to a lot of places ls including the hop on hop off bus. If it’s your thing, order a whisky sour at the bar. The bartender there does a great job.
