Beautiful room and bathroom. Smaller but beautiful lobby and affordable bar. Close to Main Street to jail a taxi but also very walkable, lots of food options near by. Staff was very kind and helpful but could use a better check in space. Elevators were small but at least they have them! Next time I will book a room on the top floor for the balcony because that is the only thing that I think could have made the experience better.

Overall, I really enjoyed our stay at Motel One Madrid-Plaza! The staff was very helpful, the hotel is greatly located and the room was very clean! The only issue is that the rooms are not as soundproof. If loud enough, you can hear the guests in the next room. Aside from that, I enjoyed my time. I would recommend!

There was nothing unique about this hotel. For a 4 star rated hotel to not have tea and coffee making facilities in the room is a first for me. We paid 190 euros for bed only, no breakfast. There was no reception area it was all done in the bar but the staff were great. It will certainly make me review the included amenities on my next booking and not expect a 4 star upgraded room to have all the things I routinely expect. I am also not sure how a hotel gets a 4 star rating without a pool, gardens, and a full restaurant service. The saving grace was that the room was a decent size but I don't know about a standard room.

Motel One was a great place to stay for exploring Madrid. It’s near a couple of Metro stations and about a 20 min walk to the Sol area, where there’s tons of shopping. There are a few restaurant options nearby and Plaza España is close by too. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with nice decor. The bed was comfortable as well. Service was great. There were only a few small things that could’ve been improved: 1. The hotel didn’t include any extra toiletries like a shower cap and other things you’d usually get. This is likely because they’re being eco-friendly. 2. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t as good as other hotels I stayed at in Spain. It was still fine though and the shower was pretty good. 3. There was no separate bin for recycling. The only garbage bin was in the bathroom. I’d definitely stay again and will look at other Motel One hotels in the future.
