Pleasant stay
The service we received was very good. From the start at the front desk to when we left. My only suggestion would be to have bigger sized bathrobes for men. Unfortunately, the last two days out of the three days we were there, the steam room was not working, so was quite looking forward to using it. But these things happen. Maybe in the weights area suggesting heavier weight than 37.5kg maybe up to 50kg as per normal gyms.

Fantastic
The welcome we got was fantastic. Everyone called us sir and madam. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and tidy, although way too hot. We had to turn the radiator off and open the window. The food was delicious and the waiters very attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend the tudor park marriot to others.

The property is clearly of its era (maybe 35 years ago) but needs a lot of TLC, Everything is tired and dated. For example, why the electric heaters/ ventilators in the room, when a more modern building would have air conditioning? Why is it necessary to go up or down half a dozen steps to continue along a corridor?

Small negative that could be easily fixed
Unfortunately, no plug sockets on the wall Where your bed is so if you need something like a breathing mask it Can und did cause a bit of a problem as they couldn't find an extension cable and a member of the public ending up supplying one , so for a four star hotel, that for me is a big negative and they did say that it has happened several times so you would've thought they could've sorted it by now. ????

I found the hotel clean, comfortable, food excellent and staff always ready to help. One of the best hotel's i have stayed in. Only one thing that could be improved is the in out of cars. You need a seperate entry and exit as there is congestion at peak hours.

Lovely stay at Tudor Park.
We had a lovely stay at Tudor Park. Weve stayed before and was a bit disappointed as there isnt a jacuzzi anymore. All the staff were very helpful and attentive. Food was excellent. Breakfast was very noisy due to there being a wedding the day before. We really enjoyed our stay.

Disgraceful response to a recurring alarm fault
Marriott Tudor Park is an attractive well appointed hotel, but I had one of the worst stays ever. I booked 2 nights and on the first night there was a fault with their fire alarm. From about 2am the fire alarm was sounding off in intermittent bursts for over 4 hours. I rang reception at 5 am in the vain hope that there would soon be an end to the disturbance as I had had absolutely no sleep. But what infuriated and appalled me later that morning was the complete lack of empathy or intent to recompense by the hotel management. Naturally I shall be writing a letter of complaint, but the damage is done.
