What a really great hotel in the city center, just a couple of blocks from the Zocalo… great friendly staff, clean, quiet, great breakfast, they helped us with taxis service in and out of the airport.. nice outside patio, super convenient at walking distance from restaurants, stores and historic places, we will definitely go back for sure in our next trip to CdMx

I always stay in Punto MX, hands down the best cost benefit hotel. You can literally walk everywhere and although sometimes Uber is slow to pick you up in the door (due to the area) you can easily walk couple of blogs and save tons of time

The hotel was beautiful in appearance and decor. Staff were extremely friendly. I was greeted with a smile every time I arrived and left. My only qualm is with the bed. The mattress was uncomfortable and old.

This hotel has nice rooms, and they were very clean. The room service was good as well as the breakfast. Although, there were some things that we didn’t like and had issues at this hotel. For starters, some of the staff were rude. When we checked out of the hotel, the clerk at the front desk said he needed to go and check our room for any damages or missing items before we left and waited about 15 minutes for him to come back. This made us feel like we were crooks or lower-class guests. We have stayed at other hotels in the Zocalo area, and they had never treated us this way before. After the clerk came back from checking the room, he tried to charge us for a bottle of water that we did not use, and we had to argue with him for us not to get charged. Also, the bellman was rude to us and didn’t help us with our luggage or open the hotel door when our Uber arrived at 3 AM. He was too busy checking his phone to help us. Finally, we had a big issue happen in our room. Someone got in our room when we were out for the evening, opened the safe that we were using, and took some of our money. We tried to talk to the hotel manager to resolve this issue but were never available when we requested. We did not feel comfortable talking to regular staff about this issue, so it was never resolved during our stay at the hotel.

Room was comfy and had all the necessities. Cleaned everyday and staff was helpful when I had questions. Only cons would be that I couldn’t look out my window (seemed tinted) and the bathroom sink would spray back occasionally. Very small issues. Other than that, I’d stay here again
