On check in was upgraded to a more spacious room - which it was. Clean and comfortable room. Very helpful staff. Was a bit surprised at the $100 NZ charge to use the swimming pool - as had seen nothing about this in the listing. We felt this was a bit much (hence did not use). Were more than happy to take our cases at 8 am on arrival day - and checked in a little earlier - and keep until our departure on check out day

The Intercontinental Yokohama Grand is a fantastic choice. It's located in the Minato Mirai area, offering beautiful views of Yokohama Bay. Nice hotel but children not allowed in pool!
great stay with the family, the room was very nice, the sports facilities too, and we greatly enjoyed the proximity to shopping and activities for my daughter such as the amusement park just next door. The only negative point is that we picked the hotel for the pool as my daughter is an avid swimmer but unfortunately kids are not allowed to use the pool which we didnt notice in the listing. Very unfortunate for a family stay.

I had a room facing Minatomirai--an absolute delight to see that right in front of me! Staff was very courteous and swift with any needs. I didn't go to any of the dining places inside the hotel, but there were more than enough options close by.
