The staff was great! Always friendly. It is an older property that they tried to update. Our room was nice, a little dark... One of the two light bulbs in the bathroom was out, so that was disappointing. The bathtub was maybe a little clogged which was kinda gross while taking a shower. Overall, I would stay there again... The breakfast was great!

Very loud, CNN IS PROGRAMED TO THE TV EVERY TIME YOU TURN IT ON. THIS HOTEL IS A PART OF THE PROBLEM WITH DIVISION IN AMERICA. WHO PUTS CNN ON EVERY TV? LIKE A CULT

Room was nice, with some amenities more typical of higher end hotels. Niches in the shower would have been nice and bathroom counter space was very limited. Breakfast was good and the facility nice. Check-in person sent us to a room that was the opposite of what we requested, in terms of proximity to elevator and vending machines. I think she was inexperienced. Overall experience makes me consider using Best Western more often.

The room smelled overwhelmingly of mold. There were black patches on the ceiling of the bathroom above the shower. We asked for a room change due to mold allergies and it was denied stating there was no other rooms available. The front desk stated they would send someone to "disinfect" our room. A man just sprayed Lysol around the floors, making our room smell of mold AND chemicals. It was dreadful. Worst hotel I have stayed at in a decade.

The staff here were awesome. Breakfast options were alright. Room was pretty noisy as you hear everything in the hall. Tub didn’t drain well. Air conditioner in our room had not been updated so didn’t run very well. Nice hardwood floors. Bed was one of the most comfortable I have had at a hotel. Card readers at the doors on the ends of the building didn’t work. Stayed here for four nights, wouldn’t stay here again.

Overall good stay! Stayed two nights for the price it was a decent hotel. Little outdated but to be expected. Nice area. Close to valleyfair. Pool area was little unclean and no pool towels.

We arrived late in the evening & checked in. Lobby has a strong odor of musky air freshener. Couches in lobby are filthy. Went to our room- there was someone’s stuff all over and someone sleeping in the bed! Went back to the desk and they girl is shocked & said “how does that even happen?!” Um, you work here, you tell me!? Then she says she upgrades us to a room with two beds… So we went from a king size to two queens not sure that’s an upgrade. The room was fine very basic but clean. The door needed a full body slam to actually engage the lock, but it did end up locking. This is an older property that definitely needs upgrades. It’s a real shame because the staff was very nice! This is around the corner from family and we are sad we won’t be able to stay so close.

Rooms are very small; one room had a musty smell and looks like from mold on ceiling in bathroom. Breakfast was okay for us but a lot of guests were complaining. Rooms were clean, staff was really nice, it was quiet and overall met our needs.

I spent 4 days at this property. It was a no-smoking hotel but there was never a day when the second floor did not reek of cigarette smoke- how disappointing. I will not stay there again.

The first room given to us smelled like smoke. Staff have us another room without question, which was very nice. The second room had a noisy air conditioner and there was a bug in the bathtub.
