We’ve stayed here multiple times through the years. This time we were extremely disappointed. They’ve added a parking fee-10$ per night. This was not noted on the reservation or booking of the room, a separate charge. When I asked why and when this started I was told they were 1 of 8 properties doing this. Not really an answer. It’s a rural area, not next to the main air port and not down town- so the logical and most logical way to arrive would be a car, parking over night.
The pool was a chaotic mess- the “pool attendant” spent the evening on his phone with his ear buds in, while a group of teenage boys screamed and fought, throwing fists in the entrance of the water slides.
The water slides empty into the main pool so typically the pool attendant watches to make sure no one gets to close to the exit, so no one gets hurt. This attendant couldn’t be bothered to even look up. The hot tub was 109- no one could get in it. The night was so loud, our upstairs neighbors screamed, ran, trampled around all night. When we went to check out the front desk guy never even looked up from his phone. Didn’t acknowledge us with a “GoodMorning”, “How was your stay?” Or anything else. He simple said “your recipe will be emailed.” I’ve worked in customer service for almost 30 years- general eye contact and a smile can go a long way.
Unprofessional and disappointing. If it wasn’t for the water slides for our kids we would find other accommodations in the future.
