"Conveniently located right in the city center. Close to shops, restaurants, and the Christmas Markets. Staff was very friendly! I wouldn't get a room that faced the street though. Can get a little loud at night or early morning with people stumbling out of bars. Other than that, loved our stay and would definitely stay here again! "

"In Dutch we use the word mist for fog… it was foggy…misty? Or rather mystique? Bruges is beautiful in the fog in the winterperiod, when Christmas lights give it that little extra touch. The hotel was warm and welcoming, and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Centrally situated and next to the canal. I would avoid a room on the groundfloor with Frenchdoors leading directly onto the street… you cannot leave them ipen for one ( everyone passing can walk straight in) and secondly, you get woken up very early in the morning by the waste collection trucks in the street. "

"This hotel is very central for shopping or a visit to the cathedral and old town. The room and bathroom were small but well arranged and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, with excellent linen. The room had a floor to ceiling window which looked over the roofs to the churches in the centre of town. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good coffee and apples were provided for all in the small foyer area throughout the day. I did not have breakfast but the dining area upstairs looked nice. An upgrade to more fluffy and thicker towels would be good and at least one thinner pillow. However, for me, this was an excellent hotel. "

"Wonderful hotel, city centre location, excellent staff, lovely well appointed room. It is a particular bugbear that when you stay in a hotel with facilities, you are charged to use them. We booked a massage, we had to pay not just for the massage, but to use the 'spa' - a sauna and steam room. I understand paying if you are not a guest of the hotel - but as a guest, it annoys me and frankly I don't return to any hotel which applies this policy. "
