Not a great stay.

Very well used hotel. No shower in room. Very small. Even smaller TV. Pillows old and hard. Questionable cleaning. Floors dirty. Hole in bathroom door from a kick. Very expensive for deluxe room. Sign out front indicates room rental by the hour.

Very Disappointed

The check-in was okay. I was glad there was someone there late because we checked in after a long drive. However, I was seriously disappointed by the rest. The wifi barely worked, when it actually stayed connected. The A/C unit was on, but couldn't be adjusted or even turned off. And the room itself was gross. The sheets had holes in them, including BURN holes. And the shower/bath was COVERED in mold and the shower curtain was pink with mildew. Mold like that does not grow overnight so god only knows how long since it was last cleaned - which seriously calls into question for me when the burn-holed sheets were last changed. When I checked out and complained about the state of the room, the lady at the desk just sorta looked at me blankly and then went to make sure WE didn't cause any further damage. No apology, nothing. We will never be back and would recommend to others that they find a better place to stay.

The room had a mildewy smell upon entering and the bathroom was dirty as well as the beds. There were broken light fixtures and outlets as well as the fan in the bathroom is missing just an empty hole that could pose safety issue. Area surrounding motel is pretty sketchy and feels unsafe. Wouldn’t recommend.

We booked two rooms and when we checked-in we were allocated with one smoking room and other on non-smoking room. It was not mentioned anywhere while doing online reservation that we would be provided with smoking room. The smell of smoke was so strong that we couldn't stand for even single minute. Also, A/C was not working properly and did not have remote or button to control the temperature. The bedsheets were dirty and spots on it. Telephone was not working and drawer was broken. Lights were inadequate. When we request the staff to change room they just said that they can't help with this. Overall, the experience was so terrible and I would NEVER suggest anyone this stay. More to this, when I talked to Expedia customer service, even they did not compensate us.

The Motel Rideau is sub standard, dirty and too massy ,no dairy cleaning, no bf, no hot water to make coffee,the owner don’t provide enough clean towels, parking is full of big , long vehicles, it doesn’t suits family to stay there:

I had a really bad experience at this motel. The staff was unprofessional, and it took forever to get any assistance. Management was even worse—Mean and unhelpful when I had an issue. The room was filthy—stains on the sheets, dirty floors, and a musty smell that never went away. The place seemed poorly run, and I won’t be staying here again. Avoid it if you can.

Is really old and not clean. Towels and bed linen are Ok but you can notice furniture hasn’t been moved to clean at least the visible spots and the windows as well. Mattress is uncomfortable I suggest they put a memory foam pad on top to help, since you can feel the springs every time you move or turn.
