Book a hotel near Mt. Abram, Greenwood

"We had a wonderful stay at the Mullen Chalet that’s within walking distance to Mt. Abram and a short drive to Sunday River. The open concept kitchen and living room allowed us to prepare dinner while chatting with guests relaxing on the wrap-around couch. In addition, the chalet was comfortable and clean with large windows that provided picturesque views of the snow-covered tree branches. Our two dogs enjoyed the deck and quiet neighborhood. The travel sized soap, shampoo, and makeup wipes were appreciated. The check in and check-out process was easy, and the written laminated instructions in the chalet were helpful. The Mullen Chalet pays tribute to the motto “Maine, the way life should be.” We look forward to staying there again."

"The home was beautiful and better then expected. The lake was breathtaking especially in the mornings and evenings. Host were wonderful and even recommended different activities near by. I would definitely stay there again. "

"The house was a wonderful space for our family to get together with 7 adults and 3 kids, there was room for a few more if we had wanted! We loved the living room for game time and the connected kitchen and dining area worked well to keep everyone together at meal time. The bedrooms were well laid out and the kitchen had everything we needed to prep. We did rent a pontoon boat from Norway Marina for 3 days during our stay to tour the lake. My only comment relative to the listing description is that there are several steps, albeit relatively shallow, to get from the house down to the water, and there are essentially 2 water areas. 1 with the dock and floating dock, and a second beachy area down a small path from the fire pit. The views from the house are somewhat limited as it is nestled in among the trees, so you can't really see the waterfront from the house but it was very quiet and really enjoyable inside the house. We'd definitely go back for other family outings. "
