"Very pleased with Hanmer Springs and this lovely old hotel. Ground floor room with a patio. Room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Bathroom was tight and with the toilet a tight space behind the door … probably impossible a fit for obese people. A very nice pool and walks around the grounds. We ate in and were very pleased with the range of wines and beers. In particular we were very impressed with our meals of Lamb shank & Belly pork. The continental breakfast was fine and plentiful and certainly a good start to the day. Hanmer Springs Hotel is central to a spectacular resort and we were glad we booked it"

"Lovely small home, surrounded by native bush and birdsong, and only a five min walk down a quiet laneway to the lake.Very comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces. Only one place in town to eat out so a kitchen with all amenities for cooking was much appreciated and enjoyed.We loved our stay here - hoping to come back and stay again."

"Stayed in a room with a single queen sized bed. Extremely clean room. It was a little tight but you can make due with the microwave, toaster, and hot plate. At check in we got a small pitcher of fresh milk for tea and coffee that was a nice perk. Very quiet with a little rooster crow in the morning. "
