We were offered a room in a quiet section, but it was deficient in the following: inadequate air conditioning, only one lamp worked and only one chair. We requested repairs to AC after one night which did take place, but we were moved to a different room and appreciated it for both more space and adequate AC with better lighting Upon checking in, we were not made aware and three chairs. Upon checking there was no information about the facilities, including dining room hours/days of operation. No in-room information was available either. A missed opportunity to communicate to guests about the Maison Dupuy. Lobby coffee was great and also appreciated the availability of cold drinking water. Hot water in room was great!

The first thing i noticed was a funky smell as soon as i came in the door. Whatever. I quickly got used to it and it was not an issue after that. Staff were great. I loved the ladies at the front desk. They were sweet and helpful with everything i needed.My room had a great balcony overlooking the street. This made it 420 friendly. Otherwise the room was fine. It's a funky old New Orleans hotel. The place is dated for sure but it was clean and safe location and all that you need close but not in the middle of the French Quarter. Id stay there again at the right price.

In expensive and located in a fantastic location. So what's the catch? Property is a little run down. A good value for what you're spending, but remember you cannot expect 5 stars on a 2 star budget.

Came out for my wife’s birthday. First time in New Orleans. The area our first night caught us by surprise but as our stay went on we loved it. Staff at front desk super friendly we walked in and were always greeted with a smile. Keep in mind older hotel. But nice rooms are a little out dated but clean and comfortable especially when you come in from a long day of walking the rooms were ice cold. After second night we found the crown jewel, the courtyard quite cozy and nice pool we loved it drinks at the bar live music at. Night didn’t need to go far for a good time all right there we were close to everything and in walking distance of it all. Best of both worlds. Just like any location always be mindful of surroundings. But you will have a blast and Maison Dupuy is right around the corner.

There's always problems with the TV and/or remote. I report the problem but not addressed. There's only limited dining/cocktails. The 'details' are not addressed. I won't be back nor any of my people. Maison Dupuy you just lost in a big way

The location is conveniently near everything. But the rooms themselves were not good! Nor anything you expect from their advertising!! We were a party of 12 total, 6 rooms and they were all the same. All deluxe king with balconies (which are shared with other guests) Every room had a very unpleasant smell that we couldn’t mask whatsoever. The floors in each room had large areas where the carpet was wet. 4 out of 6 rooms were warm and muggy feeling. We’re not boujee by no means and we understand it’s an old building. However, updates, repairs and improvements really need to be done!! I wouldn’t stay here again. I’ll pay more to be able to step out of the shower and not feel like I need another one immediately after getting ready to go out.
