The bathroom and terrible shower set up left much to be desired. Water got everywhere in the tiny bathroom cause of the shower. Needs cleaning and updating bad

Location was very convenient but the room was not very clean and we asked for our bedsheets to be changed due to animal like hair being on the blanket and the ones exchanged still had animal hair on it. Breakfast was also very subpar.

From a distance the room seemed immaculate with fresh pressed sheets. Unfortunately there was a large urine stain on the comforter covered by a top sheet among other sheet stains. It was clear that they had been laundered so we didn’t complain but that detail definitely was noticed. The bathroom area is also in need of updating as the shower sprays in all directions with poor water pressure. The pool was nice and they were able to turn hot tub heater on upon request

Great location within walking distance to bars, restaurants, and next to the green line street car. Parking at the hotel is very limited,14, spots, but street parking was fine and free. Most of the staff were nice and friendly. Overall, would definitely recommend and would stay again.

This was the nicest stay I've had after many stays in New Orleans to date. Parking was right across the street. The front desk staff was nice, helpful and patient with all my questions. There were very friendly, professional security officers placed intermittently throughout the property so we felt completely safe. The property is also conveniently located to just about anywhere you'd like to go in NOLA. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again!

We liked the convenient access to the tram and some nearby restaurants, but sticky floors and a persistent smell of cigarette smoke devalued the experience, especially since staff said they would reclean the floor, but apparently did not. New Orleans is expensive, but for the nightly price of our stay, I expected better accommodations.

The look of the property is beautiful but rooms are very outdated and not overly clean. The weather stripping was broken or missing under our door and you could see out the area so it would be very easy for water, critters, bugs, etc to enter the room. VERY limited breakfast options for free. They had a breakfast buffet for 14.99 per person.

Please look at the photos! The hotel room had stains on the walls, mattress, curtains, floorboards, and lamp shades. The bedding felt like it had crumbs between the sheets, even after we asked the cleaners change them. The bathroom had mold and because of the design of the shower the floor would always get wet. Worst of all there were cockroaches, which conveniently didn’t come out till our last night. Hotels.com did nothing to help us find new arrangements. Please learn from my mistake. Do not come here.

Maison St Charles was a great little hotel that was well located. It was close to French Quarter and Garden District and could be walked from with ease. The room was simple but fine. The courtyard was a wonderful space to relax and read in. The pool was very special and we both used in the evening before dinner. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed in New Orleans many times but this was the first time at Maison St, Charles and it was my favorite accommodations ever in N.O. The location and especially the incredible, friendly staff sets this unique and beautiful property apart. The location of this quaint hotel was perfect. The streetcar was right across the street and went to many great areas. The pool area was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations. I will stay here again if i am back in New Orleans.

We were in for the weekend and to watch the Saints play. Check in was quick and efficient, staff friendly. The parking lot was on a side street next to the hotel, and the gate closest to it was chained, but it wasn’t a lot further to get into the property itself. This is an older hotel, so bear that in mind when booking. Room was clean and comfortable. The first morning we had trouble getting the water warm, second morning we showered earlier in the morning and did fine. Area very walkable, streetcar runs in front of the hotel. We’d stay there again
