I love this hotel. This is my second time staying here and I don’t know if I’ll look for a different hotel the next time I come to NYC. The view of Times Square from the 2nd floor bar and my room were amazing. I could have sat there admiring it for hours. It’s very walkable to Central Park, Times Square and Broadway, and Angelina’s bakery across the street is a bonus. I messed up and shorted my reservation by a night and the front desk staff was so pleasant, helpful, and accommodating, even on Labor Day weekend.

One of the elevators was out to get to the street level and it caused a huge back up and wait just to get out of the hotel. And apparently it is not going to be fixed anytime soon. If I had known this, I would’ve stayed elsewhere

Very rude staff at reception. One man seemed very nice and the other very rude. If was the rude man who checked us in. The staff at the restaurant was also rude. His name I believe was Jose. I know it’s New York so I shouldn’t expect much but I was still shocked that anyone like this could possibly be in the hospitality industry. As if they both had no training at all in this regard.

Waiter guys who work at bar station and waiter outside the rooftop had really bad services and their attitude really bad even no thank you when I made payment and no sorry when that waiter spilled my drink on my leg. The waiter was not clean the table where I sit since I requested and I have to wait more than 30 mins for taking the order. The service very bad and horrible.

Loved this hotel. Arranged parking ahead of our visit directly across the street. Super easy. The desk staff were so welcoming and cheerful. The lobby up on the 5th floor is great with the open air terrace overlooking Times Square. We had a drink here before heading out to dinner and would do so again. Our room was a decent New York size room. Very updated and clean with terrific mattresses and shower. We were on 18th floor and couldn't hear any street noises at night. Location couldn't be better to Times Square and Central Park. Just a perfect stay!

Just an average stay compared to other places we have stayed in NYC. We paid for a bit of a better room but they placed us on a lower floor and the bathroom was small and uninviting. Reading the many great reviews on this place I feel we just got a bad room on floor 11 (out of 24) still had an amazing time though and the room literally was just for sleeping.

This was a really nice hotel. Almost all staff were extremely helpful and kind. Unfortunately, one of the main reasons we chose the property was because of the advertised rooftop patio and the photos of the lobby that looked so relaxing. Two issues: later afternoon/early evening the volume of the music was turned WAY up so it was more of a club atmosphere—even though looking around it seemed most people were just looking to relax or visit, etc. Also, we were treated rudely twice by the same restaurant manager for sitting on the patio with some food not purchased at the restaurant (even at 3 pm when no one else was out there and we had purchased drinks from the hotel.) The second time, we even sat purposefully beyond the marked area where it said there was no restaurant service and the guy still complained. It was frustrating as the patio is not listed as a restaurant-only patio—but a hotel patio. Otherwise, front desk staff, restaurant and bar staff, housekeeping staff were all very helpful and kind. I think the rooftop patio rules should be more clearly communicated in the listing, and when you check in.
