I left a key card for my boyfriend at the hotel desk with his name on it and when he came in the morning, he got interrogated and even when he called me to confirm that he is allowed up, they still didnt give him a key.

Was ridiculous that I paid $25 for early check in for a room that was located in the basement next to the noisy breakfast room and elevators. Hotel staff interacted as minimally as they could, not very welcoming or personable at all. Room was small, but clean. Shower was hot and hairdryer was powerful.

Road was under construction so hard to get to. Free breakfast in basement. Somewhat shabby building, ok room if staying overnight but not for a long time. Cheap and safe place to stay temporarily

Positive: Agnes was a darling and went above any beyond to help. Negative: the place is not the cleanest overall. The grout in our shower was untidily stained. There was still tape around the top of the bathroom from the paint job. While housekeeping has to be reqested, a delivery of bare necessities like toilet paper and soap should be mandatory daily. The breakfast buffet was all carbs, no protein or fruit.

A nice hotel on the side street with some free parking in the front and the rear of the hotel. The room was warm and a good view Manhattan. Clean lobby and elevators. A nice continental breakfast served from 7.30 thru 10 am. I'd stay there again if I'm in the area

Easy walk to the subway, multiple options for convenience stores and restaurants. The neighborhood felt safe at any time. Very easy access to Manhattan using the express line in the subway. It has a fridge, microwave and good size room. I will come back for my next visit to NYC
