This is our 3rd visit to Redworth Hall, and 1st stay in a family room. The room was clean and comfortable, however the bathroom was looking very tired with broken tiles and some discoloured sealant and grout.

Great hotel , subpar spa, limited food options
Thr main old part of the house is great, our room was massive overlooking the front outside seating and garden areas. Was clean and well looked after, very pleased with this. The bars both upstairs and downstairs need updating, downs stairs felt like a travel lodge , upstairs felt like an 80s cocktail bar. Food offerings were also lacking, expected to higher levels of cuisine availdable than on offer, although what we dod have was actually good. Would suggest putting a fillet on the menu. Cocktails were ok, wine offering was good, sancerre was perfect. Staff mostly good, reception was on point and those working the upstairs bar, would recccomend propper training and supervision of the down stairs bar though. The spa was a complete let down im just glad i didnt pay for this or would of wanted a refund, very over crowded, outdated, could be better managed with a booking schedule. Overall good value for money but if looking for a hotel with a pool in future this would not be it

Not good, disappointed with the entire stay
Was dirty throughout (expect events area) Had staff standing over us while eating evening meal, really off putting, food was shockingly bad, no taste and bland. Room was lovely and large, the bed was comfy, but the spa bath was disgusting and stunk the room out. The building is in bad shape sadly, and the access from car park is not good. Was the most expensive hotel we've stayed in recently, and the worst.

Amazing place to stay, can’t wait to return!
Absolutely amazing stay, not stopped talking about here to all my friends and family!! Staff were so helpful and friendly for a night away for my partner’s birthday. Spa was lovely, so relaxing and super clean. Room was amazing, stunning view of the gardens/courtyard (photos don’t do it justice!!) Food was 10/10 at the restaurant on the evening, breakfast buffet pleasant too. Can’t wait to return.

I had a two night weekday stay. It was easy to find and there was lots of free parking, some spaces even had electric car charging points. I arrived before the 3 pm check-in time so went to make enquiries at The Retreat spa and leisure centre. Claudia, who works there, was really polite, helpful and attentive and gave me advice and options on what to do before check-in. She was really patient whilst I dithered with my choices. She is a real asset. I had a back, shoulder and neck massage with Eve which was really helpful because the knots in my muscles kept popping like bubble wrap. I had the same treatment the next day with Charlotte and, again, the treatment was excellent. Both of them confirmed details before the treatment and told me what to expect, then at the end they gave me recommendations, which I would never have contemplated. My room was a standard double and was really quiet, clean, spacious and well-equipped. I liked the large flat screen TV which was built-in and didn't dominate the room. The bed was so comfortable and I slept really well (the massages definitely helped). There were about nine electrical sockets, which were handy for charging devices. Also supplied was a hair-dryer, iron, ironing board, and trouser press. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped with everything you'd expect. Two things I'd like; 1) The ability to preregister online. 2) A choice of herbal teas, not just green tea.

Nice & great spa facilities.
The hotel has a historical feel about it, the only downside for me was the car park was slightly further away from entrance so best to drop any luggage at reception first. I didn’t like the route to our room on second floor as you have to pass through the restaurant & bar with loads of people watching you, it felt awkward. The retreat however is wonderful here, all on the second floor, we used the pool and hot tub (free to guests) the gym is great too. Times were brilliant open till late 8pm.

We love this hotel this is our 3rd time staying here we have stayed twice with children then an adult break and they always deliver. The staff are always so amazing and friendly. The spa is beautiful and children have set times and then you have the garden games to. The rabbits that habit on the grounds are so beautiful to.

We had a fantastic stay at Redwood Hall Hotel, the room was absolutely perfect, generous in size and the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom could do with an update but this didn’t affect our stay at all. The spa area, pool and gym were all excellent as well, would definitely recommend. Can’t wait to come back sometime!!

Nice hotel, we enjoyed a one night visit where we made use of the swimming pool, steam room and mini golf as well as ate in the restaurant. Overall very nice and the food was particularly good, couple of negatives, we had rooms which have spa baths, these weren’t usable as the pumped out grime when you try to use them so I’d suggest saving the money and not booking this. The mini golf whilst fun is also getting very tired and is in need of repair. It was a nice place though overall and would recommend.

Lovely old building and our bedroom was very spacious. Had a lovely swim and sauna on waking followed by a fab breakfast. No complaints whatsoever so would definitely stay again.

We upgraded to a delux room as a treat for ourselves but found it situated above the reception area/front entrance. Had noise until well after midnight and at 6.30am coaches parked outside engines running. Accessibility was non existent. Dinner was in a small room with table of 10 in middle and 4 of us couples wedged up against the walls. The party of 10 were loud and dominated the area making small talk impossible as well as putting the poor staff at a disadvantage as they were constantly barraged by the table to wait on them even when bring us our food. Extremely poor decision making on the part of the manager. Spoke to FOH staff who were not in the slightest bit interested in assisting. Will never recommend this hotel
