Staff was very nice and helpful but actual castle can use some TLC. It was very quiet for me where I felt little scared in the building. Breakfast was good though. Light in the rooms are on sensor I believe and whole night they kept coming off which scared me even more. I kept TV on all night to distract ourselves.

Flot herregård med meget hyggelig, blød indretning. Fin pris, fint personale. Ejeren gav en rundvisning til mig og min veninde, og vi fik lov at sidde i de smukke stuer sent om aftenen. Så dejligt.

Classic elegance with modern comfort.
This restored palace retains the elegance of its former use, while providing the modern comforts one expects in hotel. The staff is helpful and friendly.

Property was great. Room was pleasant. Service was fantastic. The only real drawback is the distance from the city (e.g., for alternative restaurants, etc.), but that all depends on what you're looking for.

Great one night stay
We stay here just for one night and wanted something out of the city of Aalborg (off the beaten path) for our last night in DK. The staff was friendly and the room was clean, just small and really didn't have much time to experience the hotel or area.

Nær, men ikke helt et "upper class hotel)
Spennende historie og mye av dette tatt vare på. Er nær å være et "upper class" hotell, men mangler detaljer med at det er noe slitt, noe gammel standard som ikke inngår i slottstilen (som bad/wc). Uniformering av ansatte mangler også. så litt mer attention to details, oppussing av bad og fortsett å bevare slottstilen så lan dette bli meget bra (hilsen en fra hotellbransjen)
