"I arrived on a rainy Wednesday, dripping wet and so glad to step into a quiet, warm and inviting guest suite. I communicated with my hosts all week, especially after an unexpected power outage and internet interruption. A few details: the bed (in the bedroom) is wonderful. So nice to snuggle under the duvet at the end of the day. My daughter visited me--from Seattle--and when she came into the guest suite, exclaimed "this is like being at YOUR house!" which is really a testament to how comfortable and homey it truly is. Every detail is lovingly attended to, there's a lovely electric fireplace, etc. The kitchen is well stocked with amenities (non-food, I mean to say), and on that score, there are at least 3 grocery stores within walking distance, one a gluten-free healthy one with at least 6 different soups daily. There is a beautiful patio garden with a pond, however since it is smack in the middle of autumn I didn't spend much time out there....so, to sum up--and I'm not sure I can!--this was a marvelous home away from home for me.
