"This was an exceptionally nice hotel in the perfect location. Just a short walk from the train station and close to everything. My husband and I enjoyed a romantic 2 days in this gorgeous little city. We took the train to Mt. Pilatus and really enjoyed the cheese fondue locally. The room was spacious and elegant. The bedding was very comfortable. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Des Alpes during our visit to Lucerne. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the staff is multilingual and very friendly. The hotel is conveniently located near the old town, an area with shops and restaurants, riverside next to the chapel bridge and close to the train station. Breakfast is nice although the ticket system suits them more than the guests IMO. Recommend "

Wonderful staff at checking office located right at the hotel Krone right around the corner! Clean room and facility! Only very few utility vehicles as that part of the city is closed to traffic!
