At least the bar across the street was open and the wait became shorter. After calling the phone number indicated, a very nice girl arrived and came to greet us, who told us that she was on her day off. "This was a sweet place to launch into the Serranía de la Cuenca from. It is cozy, and has all the necessary amenities. We enjoyed our stay very much. The town is just big enough to have a small grocery store and a few restaurants, but small enough that you could launch into the park walking from your front door."
