Based on the property name and pictures on Expedia, plus the proximity to a station, I thought the cost Wes’s worthwhile. The lobby certainly is luxurious as did the restaurants, as well. Unfortunately, the room we selected was smaller than expected; 2 people with 2 carryon luggage and 2 backpacks is too much for the room selected. The room is outdated, with peeling wallpaper, a bit of an overwhelming smell of mold/mildew, creaky floors, very small counter space in the bathroom, and rust on some of the nails, plus not enough outlets in key areas (e.g., both sides of bed). We made do, as we were there for one night. The cost performance was not as high as was anticipated. The staff are friendly and the location is excellent, but the rooms need to be updated and perhaps be made bigger to accommodate for a bit more luggage. I understand now the point of such a room size; it just wasn’t the correct room for us. Maybe next time we will select a bigger room (if available). Thank you for accommodating us on a whim.
