Property, Staff, and grounds were pretty decent. Its the room and the service was bad it doesnt seem like the vacuum the rugs or really do a deep cleaning in the rooms.

I have been staying in this Holiday Inn every two years for the last 12 years. I must say that the property went downhill significantly. It smells musty, every surface appears sticky. The climate unit in the room is roaring and doesn't respond well to the thermostat. The walls are very thin and every noise in neighbouring rooms can be heard. They don't have enough cleaning staff- my room was cleaned once in a 5-night stay. That being said it isn't a posh hotel, so expectations aren't high- but with new hotels built recently in Port Hope and Oshawa, I can't see myaelf staying here again.

The front desk was very helpful & pleasant. The breakfast options were very good. The pool was nice & clean. Very good place to stay. I ended up needing to stay another night & the girl at front desk gave me the room for another at the same cost i paid for the previous night. Online it was alot more.
