I stayed at this hotel on my first and last days in Paris and it was a wonderfully convenient location to begin and end my journey. I loved exploring rue Lafayette. So many options for food and shopping. my first day was in a single room with a single bed, which was quite cozy and easy for maneuvering. it was on the top floor and required climbing one flight of stairs.The second stay was a single room with easy access and a double bed, which took up more space. You choose.😊 beds were comfortable, and staff was very kind and helpful.

I loved this small hotel. I had a single room on the sixth floor that was tiny, but cozy. Note that it was on the sixth floor and as the elevator only goes to the fifth, a climb up one flight of stairs is necessary. The bedding was luxurious as were all the soaps and creams. The staff was friendly and helpful and I am excited to return at the end of my trip.

Lovely Victorian hotel. Lovely lobby area - and great location right next to Hyde park. Staff was friendly and professional. The room was quite small - but that is typical throughout london at this price point. I will stay here again!!!

Had to walk round bed to wash hands after using toilet as no sink near toilet, shower was not actual shower, hairdryer only worked if held casing together, kettle had to be put on floor to be able to use as cord too short, heating wasn’t adaptable, coffee in room was poor, was accused of lying by male receptionist over which teabags were available. Not a 4 star hotel!

The Grand Hotel Lafayette is tucked in a little street right off Lafayette. The area is bustling with pedestrians and a never ending selection of eating options, yet is very quiet. Rooms are small but had all the amenities we needed; bath products including bath robes etc. and was very clean. Staff were very helpful and cafe off the lobby was available for breakfast but we went to one of the many nearby cafes for the full Paris experience. Would recommend as a well priced option in an excellent location.

This hotel is listed as a four-star. By Canadian/North American standards it would never have greater than a three-star status. Parts of the room were in disrepair (chips in the toilet bowl and seat, large dings in the walls). The air conditioning system did not work very well but to their credit, a staff member came to fix it and set it to our comfort. The location of the hotel is well-situated, just off the busy streets and close to two different subway lines. Be aware that you can hear the subway until around midnight and when it starts again around five in the morning.

Location is everything
Nice hotel but the rooms were very small ( we had a standard dubble room). Location is perfect - walking distance to almost everything.
