Lovely heritage building. “High Tea” was a minimal snack, not worth staying in for! Friendly and helpful staff.

Travelled with family
24 Nov 2023
we got 3 rooms and one room was extremely noisy with horns blaring from the street even after midnight.
bathrooms - no shower screens and had to be extremely careful to ensure we did not fall from the wet floor after a shower.
mattresses were hard - did not sleep well.
the food in the restaurant was extremely delicious!
I stayed here 1 night during a business trip. Everything went fine during the check in and the room was what I expected- a little dated but that is the style of the hotel.
My main complaint was that at 2 am I was woken by loud banging (hammer on metal) that lasted for the remainder of the night. I could hear people yelling and didn't feel safe to go check to see what was happening. The hotel reception didn't speak English and wasn't able to tell my what the noise was. I was very worried for my safety as I could not imagine what would be causing this type of chaos and shouting in the middle of the night. In the morning I was informed that they were setting up for a wedding! I couldn't believe it!! Not only was I kept up all night because of the noise, I also felt unsafe because I didn't know what was happening. I travel for work often and have never had this happen. In the morning when I tried to talk to the hotel staff to express how upset I was, they were very relaxed about it and didn't see anything wrong with what they had done. I can't believe I had to pay to stay somewhere that made me feel in danger all night.
This is a very nice hotel considering that it is in small town Patiala and probably the best hotel in town.
It is run more like a home than a hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Room was large and comfortable. Bathroom was huge. No complaints about cleanliness. It was clean.
Only problems are that they don't have room service. Dinner is from 8 pm and not 7 like other hotels. And breakfast is from 8am and not 7.
That being said, the day I got there, I was really hungry after a marathon travel session getting to Patiala from Chennai. I asked them for food at around 6:30pm. They not only obliged, they brought it up to my room. On the day of my departure, I needed breakfast at 7 and they obliged.
Food is good but a bit on the pricy side considering that it is a small town.
I will definitely stay there on future visits.
Overall the experience was very pleasant. Staff were courteous and helpful. The quality of the food was good and reasonably priced. There is a walking area adjacent to the Palace. Certain meals were complimentary. I would stay at this location again.
Nice palace in a very good Baradari location. Hotel Manager & Staff very cooperative. Nice big size rooms & washrooms. Bar & dine in facility available on site. Very convenient location to move around the city. I will definitely recommend this place to all my family & friends.
Neemrana in Patiala is a heritage location. The building is maintained in a great shape. Rooms were clean and fully equipped. Hotel Staff was quite resourceful. Will recommend to others. The only great place to stay in Patiala.
A beautiful tranquil setting, for a Maharaja's Palace turned into a Hotel.
Loved it. The room was amazing, the bathroom was almost the same size as the huge room!
The staff were all attentive, and very curteous to your needs.
The Palace is surrounded by beautiful gardens, it makes a pleasant change from the crowded streets of the city.
A lovely place, you won't find better in Patiala.
