Nice hotel but some issues
It is a nice well maintained modern hotel. Some staff issues - on checkin they could not trace my booking. After 10 minutes I was given a key but the room had not been made up. I waited a further 10 minutes and got another room. Took a shower went out but noticed air con not working when I returned. Engineer was useless. I moved room again and this time no problems. Nice room, breakfast is good. They may have lost regular / trained staff due to COVID!

hotel ok, Hotels.com app never ever!
Due to my frequent travels, I usually use apps that allow me to earn points on my frequent flyer airline cards. This time I chose to use hotels.com because it was cheaper than on other websites. Online booking went smooth and all was ok. The third and last day we decided to stay one more night and extended and paid (50$) trough the app the stay. Yet once back in the hotel, after dinner, we have been told there is no availability and there is no room for us. There was also no possibility to cancel the booking as in the meanwhile midnight passed. Being late in the night, in Cambodia, we accepted to be upgraded to the hotel in front of us. Once packed and arrived, the “upgrade” room had nothing to do with what we have booked, the guesthouse hadn’t facilities we paid for, curtains were broken, the fridge empty, no swimming pool etc. all this isn’t of course terrible, it was even an ok place, but not for 50$. I checked their rates online and those rooms were sold for 20$! I got in touch via chat with hotels.com assistant who sweared these things never happen and wrote me to wait online while he would call the hotel. He did so, but in those 20mim the connection went lost and we had to start from the very beginning: another assistant, the same procedure, details, names, codes, he calls again the hotel, he the hotel calls the manager, the assistant calls the hotel back, the receptionist calls the manager back ... after another 45 minutes in which we have be

Good hotel for a short stay
In general the hotel is good. Its location is okay. It is within walkable distance to the main Palace of the city (City Center). At the same time there is nothing really near the hotel (no shops, restaurants, clubs or massage salons). Hotel’s front desk staff was super sweet and helpful. I took a taxi from the airport to the hotel and I payed $18 for that ride. When I told that to the front desk guy he was shocked and suggested ordering a taxi for me back to the airport for $13. The next day the taxi arrived in time and I had no issues with checking-out at all. My room was pretty simply designed, but good looking. The bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was tiny, but the shower was big enough and comfortable. The bathroom amenities were okay. Wi-Fi was fast. The additional plus for the hotel was there were free drinks inside of the refrigerator (Coke, Sprite, water and beer).

Hallways and rooms looked old and worn out. Stale smell of cigarettes throughout. Cleanliness was spotty, fair at best. On one day, breakfast was not ready at 6 30 with about 20 guests waiting. On the other day, most of breakfast items were gone by 9 30. Towels with brown spots and well torn. Although NOT requested, given room with connecting door and being subjected to a crying baby 24 hrs a day. Downgraded to a 2 twin beds and, reluctantly, given US 30 voucher (after difficult "negotiations"). No AC in common areas. The main lift used all the time by hotel personnel. Wooden lounge chairs at the pool have no soft cushioning so it's nearly impossible to lay down for more than 5 minutes. This is not a 4 star property, 2 maybe. The hotel management, it seems, aims at making profit at the cost of it's guests.

bad, rundown and smelly hotel.
The hotel has a good ranking on most hotel booking sites but dont tanke that as insurance for it beeing nice. The hotel is run down with disgusting floor carpets in the rooms which look like they havent been cleaned for the last decade. Also, there is a funny smell thru out the rooms and hotel as if someone were smoking inside the ac-system. At the price they quote, you can get a way, way better hotel in PP. Dont book this.

the main entrance is a staircase. I've booked the hotel to ensure we have good access for my mom with knee issue, turns out there is a huge staircase to climb every time we enter / leave the hotel. We later then discovered there is a very small lift at the carpark, the entrance to carpark was extremely steep for wheelchair too, moreover the staff never assisted us, or inform us about the availability of the lift.

Comfortable stay and convenient location
Booked this hotel at last minute because the original hotel booked was closed when I arrived. Location was quite ok except not many food options close by. Good to have a supermarket nearby though. Can easily use grab tuk tuk to attractions (central market, Russian Market, Royal Palace, Riverside, aeon mall, etc). Had dinner twice on the 13th floor, and the food was quite good. Reasonable prices too. Breakfast was decent, with some hot dishes, porridge, noodles soup and made to order eggs. Other than wifi unstable at times and missing some towels after each day housekeeping, overall stay was good.

Good value for money in Phnom Penh
The hotel is quite simple. Room is spacious and good value for the money in Phnom Penh. Breakfast buffet is pretty good with some choices. The room is clean and nice, except for some reasons, the bed sheets have several holes. The sheets was clean and nice, but just big holes in it. The area is not in the center of the city, but Phnom Penh offers very cheap Tuk Tuk, so everything is quite close distance. There is a foreign market within walking distance.

Amazing service!!!
The staff at the hotel was amazing! They prepared breakfast for our early morning bike ride at 4:40 am, booked our bus tickets for us and printed them out, gave us a free ride to the bus station, took our phone and connected it to the wi-fi! Exceptional service! Very friendly, and welcoming! The free massages were amazing! Highly, recommend this hotel! The room was very comfortable with 2 giant tubs in the room!

Stayed 5 nights in April 2019. Overall a good hotel with a few minor grumbles. 1. Although each room is supposed to have its own internet, mine did not. I had to log on the the neighbouring rooms's internet which was sufficient. 2. The a/c is a bit weak and it takes time to cool the room down. I had it on max power. 3. The TV signal is weak and intermittent. Grainy pictures mostly. 4. Breakfast OK and typical for SE Asia. Better deals can be had outside.

I had a problem with the reception, when I was doing the check out with my friends, the receptionist asked me to pay for the water in the room I drunk, 5 usd each! I was surprised because there was not any writing on the menu even the receptionist was sure about it. So I was thinking that if they do the same for each person, it's not fair for the people doesn't have any money! So I told them that I found a cockroach in the room and i killed him, so may be we can deal with this problem, so I went back to the room and the staff there already cleaned up the cockroach, i was really upset about it specially when the staff didn't clean it well, the wings were there! I complained to the manager directly, she just told me that , ok we can do 50% of discount for the water, I said no about it. I showed her the menu in the room for showing her there isnt any writing for the bottle water price! The last one, a special thank you for the receptionist guy, we were waiting the bus around the swimming pool at the 13 floor and when our bus came to pick up us, he just let us there and told nothing to the bus.
