My room had a really foul odor and a consistent knat problem. I bought cleaning supplies since my stay was extended there but it did not help. There was no stove and oven just hot plate. Maybe the exhaust fan in kitchen was not working properly and caused the odor in the room. Not sure. The hallways and lobby smelled as well. The stairwell was filthy. While I was on an extended stay there management did clean the lobby area, stairwell and the hallway odor improved. I am thankful it was not me and had an excellent experience last night at ES in Farmington CT. Very clean with attentive staff. Without last nights experience, I wouldn’t”t have returned to Exended Stay. My experiences at extended stay have n Philadelphia and Monroeville were generally positive ones as well. Farmington CTby far the best to me, anyway so far.

Clemson football game
We came to PIttsburgh for the Clemson Pitt football game. We just needed a room for the night and ESA was perfect. Barbara at the front desk was very nice when we arrived.

This is not the Hyatt that it used to be
I would just say this hotel was…okay. My friend and I stayed for 3 nights and not once did housekeeping come. The elevator is very, very slow. We stayed on the third floor and it smelled weirdly of quesadillas/old food. Our room was clean though. It was just an okay stay.

Unprofessional staff. The lady gave my reservation to someone else and insisted they said my name. She then proceeded to show me their ID on her computer. She made a mistake and tried to blame it on them. Place smelled horribly. Overall, terrible experience. Prices were okay but experience was not enjoyable by any means.

Hotel sold our room. Was left with no room. We hanks to hotels.com they found us a replacement. We had this reservation for a month and when we arrive we are told they was no more rooms and that they gave ours away.

Wouldn't go there again.
Checkin lady not informative or friendly.Got in room, supposed to be queen room, was a double.Clothes still in a drawer from previous person. Popcorn on floor at bed - we didnt have popcorn.There was 1 washcloth for 4 of us. No daily housekeeping/fresh towels. 2nd night went and asked for 4 towels/cloths, and was given 2. Desk person said he could only give us 2 because people destroy stuff- we all just wanted a bath!! Elevator was very slow and only 1 of the 2 worked. Location was good, close to many eating and variety of shopping places. Nice full size refrigerator. Had microwave and a small hot plate but no utensils or cookware/plates in room. I guess you had to go to desk to ask for that stuff. We didnt need it so was not a big deal.
